Taking this cruise, with my daughter, in two weeks. Daughter lives in San Diego. I just have to drive down from Palm Desert. Looking forward to the cool weather. I will be following your thread. 

Does Celebrity have a shuttle into Dublin? If so, what is the cost?

I went on the website today. I had to use chrome. I wanted to check on booked excursions and Quisine. Not able to find them. So I called. Told the representatives I had signed in and had gone to accounts. Well it turns out; they were still updating the new web page. She sent me a copy of my extras. Those things should be fixed faster. I wonder who they hire to fix their web page.

If Celebrity would have self service laundry on their ships; the problem would be solved.

I was on the Solstice. Storage was not good. Closet was to small for two women. Bins above beds are horrible. I am short and a senior citizen. To use the bins I would have to stand on the bed and throw things in. If something fell to the back, there was no way for me to retrieve them. My daughter is taller, and of course, younger than me. She was able to store things, not being used, in the bins.

Since this is technically against the rules, I wouldn't advise doing so. If you don't want to finish the bottle, the ship will hold it for you and deliver it at the next meal to whichever restaurant you are in. OR if you want to finish it off in your room, just bring it back with you.

 

Either approach is far preferable to pretending you bought the glass in one of the bars.

I absolutely plan not to bring wine from my room to drink in public places. I am curious, to know, how the staff knows it is from your room and not purchased in a public place.

I am going on cruise tomorrow. I am going with 46 other women. We are taking a bus from Palm Desert Ca to Long Beach. Never have had a problem. Today, though, there has been a horrible crash on the I-10. A bus and big rig crashed together. All lanes are closed westbond. 13 people were killed. It is going to take awhile to clear it up. The I-10 is really the only way to leave our area.

I would like to know how Inspiration passengers felt about the changes. How is the Alcemy bar. I did not see, on the deck plans, a place for large groups to meet before dinner and enjoy a drink. Any comments about changes would be greatly be appreciated.

I really enjoyed your videos. I also liked the music. Food looked wonderful. Going on Sirena in December. First time on Oceania.

I would like to know what happens on New Years eve and New Year day. I am going on five day cruise. Will dressy night be held on New Years Eve? Will they be showing the bowl games?

Does Celebrity have luggage Valet out of Auckland NZ. Used it once on Princess and loved it.

I wish they had granola. I like it with my yogurt.

My daughter and I have been trying for two weeks to open manage my reservation. We have booked things over the phone. We have had no problems with that system. We were sent, via e-mail, all the excursions. My daughter did a spread sheet; which made it easy. Meanwhile, I sent an e-mail to the CEO. I would much rather do things online. One wonders if anyone in IT knows anything at all.

After I sign in i get a message saying Celebrity secure. Then nothing.

I have also read there are no clothes lines. I, too, wash my clothes in a cold delicate setting. I also dry my clothes at a delicate cycle. I really do not like to send my clothes to be laundered. I bring some Woolite. Plus I bring, Zout. In my mind it is the best spot remover.

I would like to see granola at breakfast. It is great in yogurt with fruit and with milk.

Another classic package question. I have seen different drinks at various bars. If they are under $8.00, can they ordered as part of the drink package.

I am not sure of what time you picked for dinner. If you picked late dining, your time is specific. The best is to do is anytime dining. Sorry, if I picked the wrong name. Every cruise companies have their own titles. If you did pick choose own time, you need to call around 8:A.M to get a time for dinner. Really helps with the wait time.

Perhaps, the Athen's tours have been cancelled because of Greece 's money troubles.

I have been on five GCT cruises. I find them to be exceptional. The staff is fantastic. There about tour guides for about every 40 passengers. If your guide is not available other guides are eager to help. The food is excellent. They get you into travel sites quickly.

The usual Mexico port is Ensenada. I have a short Princess cruise in November. The stops are Santa Barbara and Ensenada. Been to Ensenada many times. Not getting off.

I am going on my second Celebrity cruise to New Zealand. First one was just five days. I gather that Celebrity ships have no do it yourself laundries. Now I see no clotheslines. I don't like to send my stuff out. Their system needs help.

I would go with GCCL. They include 10 days on the ships vs 7 for most others doing the Seine trip. Their trips are one way ... Paris to Honfluer or reverse. The ship, MS Bizet, holds only 120 passengers. It was built in 2002 but still feels new. I have been on 12 river cruises and this is by far my favorite.

I took this cruise in 2013 and had a wonderful time.
