Danish Viking,
I need your advice! My Wife and I will be traveling to Copenhagen, in late August, for a cruise. We'd appreciate your insight on options too get from the airport to the Bethel hotel and from the Bethel to the Pier ( Cruising on RCL). We'll be arriving mid-day on Aug. 25th via Norwegian Airlines.
I appreciate your contributions on the 2107 board along with the early stages of the 2018 board.
Thanks Again!

I'm booked and will be sailing on the Ovation, in May '19, for her first Alaska cruise.
Thanks for the video.

I was too late to edit my post - my apologies - the first question I had the wrong date. So now I've found the details on Bergen Port site and we are docked at Jekteviksterminalen - I presume that is the same as Jetkeviken?
So far as my second question is concerned' date=' I would like to know which streets to focus on for the wooden houses so that is relatively easy to return to the ship. Though I believe there is a shuttle from that cruise dock. Is that right?[/font']
Sorry for getting things so muddled
ShipsinBergen,
Thank you for taking the time to answer all of our questions and the valuable information you continue to provided. My wife and I are DIY people, very active, and looking forward to hiking activities along with historic sites Bergen has to offer. All your suggestions are welcome!!!
BTW: We'll be on board the Serenade of the Seas with "I'm from Oz" (Valerie) and want to thank her for asking and you answering some of our questions.
Those Aussie's may be down under, but Valerie is on top of things;)
Thanks again,
Chris

Hi Carol...the first thing I do when we board is go grab a quick bite to eat at the buffet...then meet all my friends around the pool for sail away with my first foo foo drink of the cruise.

Hello - I don't have many cruises unde my belt. Hopefully in the next couple of years, I can get more what do you like to do's and favorite things to do answers.
For now, I like to get onboard early and hit the buffet. Once I've stuffed myself I waddle around and find the perfect spot by the pool for Sail Away.:D

Thank you posting such a detailed review, it felt like I was there with you. YAY, your mom got to fly home instead of riding for 26 hours.
