If you want a refund "for the time being", then you will not be able to get the $600 OBC rolled over.  You only get to keep the OBC if you move the booking.  It doesn't go into a "bank" to be used next time you book.

I looked around for a cabin/cruise we would want to book, put a hold on it, and then called in to get the bookings switched.  So making a new booking should be pretty easy for you, but no refund in the interim.

So I guess I don't understand under Option 2 from the email.  It says I can cancel by 31MAR21 but can retain the $600 OBC as long as I rebook by 30SEP21.  It seems as though they are giving a window to rebook and that it does not state that rebooking must be completed at the time of cancelation.

Option 2:  If you are not comfortable waiting to see the options we might be able to arrange, you may cancel any time between now and March 31, 2021 and receive a full refund to your original form of payment.

    • If you booked with an FCC, you will receive a refund for any amount paid above the FCC.  You will retain the FCC (and the accompanying OBC) as long as your next cruise is booked by September 30, 2021 for a sailing departing by April 30, 2023.

We moved a cruise we had booked in May that have been previously canceled twice, to a cruise in November 2021. We kept the $600 OBC and even received a refund of the cruise cost difference.

Our October 2020 cruise was cancelled.  They offered us $600 OBC if we rebooked.  We rebooked for September 2021 (8 day) to the ABC's.  We received an email that stated we can wait it out and see what happens or we can rebook and roll over the $600 OBC as long as its booked by 30SEP21 and Sailed by 31APR23.  So... when you cancelled and rebooked, did you use the link they provided in the email?  I am just wondering if they email you information about the $600 OBC that is transferal to another booking as long as its booked by 30SEP21.  I am not sure I want to go ahead and rebook at this time, but I would like a refund for the time being.  Thank for you help.

  3. We will be sailing on the Carnival Fascination 3/17/19 and was wondering if they would have the 80's/Glow Party during the cruise.   We sailed the Carnival Splendor a couple years ago and they had this one evening.  If anyone has done this cruise and could let me know, that would be appreciated.  Thanks for your help!

  4. Can we expect these theme nights on our 8 day cruise? I saw this posted and wanted to know if in fact they do have these theme nights... ? Thanks for your help.

For itineraries three (3) days or less you will have one Mexican Fiesta Deck Party.

For itineraries four - five (4-5) days, there will be one 80s Rock 'n' Glow Deck Party.

For itineraries of six (6) days or more there will be two deck parties onboard so pack a sombrero for the Mexican Fiesta Deck Party and/or something fluro for our 80s Rock 'n' Glow Deck Party. There will also be a Caribbean/Island Theme Night in the dining room.

  5. I was going by this on sea scanner, so I guess that isn't up to date. That was the reason for my question. Thanks for the info on the current itinerary for the Splendor.

  6. We are looking at a 10:50 am departure out of Fort Lauderdale after our 8 day Carnival Splendor cruise in October. We are also doing self assist off the ship. We arrive in port at 8am and was just wondering if anyone has booked a return a flight this early. I know everything would have to go like clock work for this to happen. Thanks for your help!

  7. We are looking at the Carnival Splendor 8 day on October 14th.

8C/8D vs 8N Empress or Verandah, is one better than the other? Just wondering if the aft facing balcony would be too noisy with the aft pool above it.

8E Lido vs 8P Panoramic, Wondering if the Spa balcony is worth the extra money and would the spa above be noisy?

Also is the Panoramic balconies covered on the Splendor?

Any insight would be much appreciated.:D:confused:

  8. Is it worth paying the extra money to get on the ship faster? We are not traveling with children and there are no tender ports. We carry our luggage on and off the ship.

Our check in docs say to be there between 1:30-3:30. If we arrive earlier how soon would they let us onboard without FTTF?

We could either get on the ship faster or I could spend that money on more beer. lol

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!!!
