We tried to book the Hilton Rose Hall as well and it was sold out. We booked Sunset Beach Resort. I have read many mixed reviews so I guess it will be what we make it! I plan to make it great:D

If you book a spa room you will have access to the spa, T pool and saunas without purchasing the pass. We were upgraded to spa cabin on Magic last October. We really enjoyed the T pool and saunas. We are in a grand suite for upcoming cruise but did not purchase spa package b/c this ship does not have T pool.

We have received the same email multiple times. Still arrive at 10:30a and board with 10-15 minutes;)

We have given suitcases full of water and cokes to porters on multiple cruises and never had an issue. Sure beats carrying it around for hours. We have also carried on these items as well.

No shops at port. Purchase what you need before arriving.

We have always carried on a case of diet cokes and a case of water for 2 people w/o any issues.

We will be flying into FLL in a few weeks and using SAS to transport us to The Doubletree hotel in Miami. We will use the hotel shuttle to the port. After the cruise, SAS will pick us up at cruise port and take us to the FLL airport. We have done this several times in the past as well without any issues.

We had a spa balcony on Magic a few months ago. Loved the cabin and location. Yes, there is a sofa in the cabin.

My husband and I are considering this cruise for 2009 since we live in Texas. Has anyone stayed in a balcony room on this ship and which deck do you prefer?
