Loved every minute.
Very relaxed, like people say no formal night, but smart casual not out of place, most of the staff on board work on all the Thomson ships and this ship appears to have more repeat customers than any other of the ships.
Would definitely do it again

Merry Christmas to you Linda and hope you have a wonderful New Year.
Not a bad year over all for my family, one grandchild born to the eldest daughter in June and the youngest having our second at the end of Feb, not sure when our next cruise will be, but can keep hoping
All the best everyone

Hi Linda
I have done 12 days with Princess down to Panama Canal and back from Fort Lauderdale on Coral Princess.
Main difference now is air fare is separate, where as I got inclusive package.
Good luck with the search, Princess are good, but so too are Royal Caribbean. It all depends on what you are after (at the right price)

This appears to be a question that has been asked and I was able to answer as will other on this page, so although about a different cruise lines, may not be the wrong forum.
P&O are discussed on here regularly

Not stayed deck 9 forward, but stayed deck 6 aft (6644)and found it a great location for main street and dining room. Although close to the stairs and lifts, found it to be a very quiet location

Hi Mitheral,
She is not around at the moment but will ask her, however from personal knowledge of shopping and packing, she always took a supply of Formal Dresses and a supply of smart dresses and separates for Blessings as well as clothes for evenings as uniform was worn during the day.
Good luck

That's great news for you.
My daughter has just returned home and back to Thomson shops after doing 3 years on all the ships except Thomson Majesty, doing future cruise advisor, shore excursions and the last 18 months as Social Welfare Hostess on the Dream.
Hope you enjoy the work

Fantastic News, Congratulations to all of you

I thought it was good Joe Holiday,
this is the link I used for discount voucher
All I was thinking was, how many double-deckers could I have got though???:D

check this out on youtube (there are plenty more)

I have used all the lounges at terminal 2.
Used Escape Lounge prior to flying to Barbados in March. Real value for money, (check website). Staff will make bacon and sausage butties in the morning in addition to the cereals and pastries.
Going in again when flying to Rhodes in 2 weeks, but this time looked for and got a 10% off voucher. £31 for 2 of us. Cant have a couple of drinks each for that in the bars

Great, fair review Julie.
So glad you had a good time as aware you were concerned prior to sailing.
Cant wait to read your review re Gluten Free

It would be the same Mark Williams.
He flew home on Saturday

Although this has created mass panic on the FB page the panic has resulted from 1 post.
Surely if it were true, more people currently on the ship would have commented and photos of blocked corridors and red and white tape would have been posted.
Thomson have not commented, so does that say nothing has happened.
I personally think it is scare mongering

Having sailed with the bigger cruise companies, such as Princess (Coral Princess ) and RCI (Explorer and Freedom of the Seas). The staff and crew have made the difference, along with the general atmosphere. One more major positive is the numbers of days at sea and ports of call
-
I would also recommend the Grill, especially if you wanted a romantic meal. I found it a great choice of food in March
-
Do you know the number of the cabin you are having?
-
Great way of describing he Dream Geomagot.
Faded Splendour.
I will use that myself in future
-
Have a good one everyone
Love to hear about your experiences on your return

We have used both entrances and don't think this makes any difference with regards to service.
I have only sat in the smaller part once and again nothing different other than quieter.

Hi Kopite, hope Lucy was kind with her words about me, if not, I am not as bad as she made out.
In our line of work a good cruise is the best way to get away from it all for a complete rest in order to re-charge the batteries.
Hope you enjoy this cruise as much as your last one. ENJOY

Tell her, her dad says hello

I know what they mean about being tied in, we have earned benefit from both Princess and RCI, but at the moment these benefits are slight, but still welcomed as they would be with Thomson.
If Thomson have no intension of developing a loyalty scheme they will see loyal passengers beginning to defect (already seems to have started) which would be a shame. If they are serious about a scheme they need to start sharing their ideas with people and need to do this very soon.
Happy Cruising though where and with whoever
-
We need to be realistic with any Loyalty Scheme.
I have sailed with RCI on numerous occasions and there scheme improves with the number of cruises you have had, which also includes number nights and stateroom type.
The first few will only include a voucher book which will include money off vouchers and buy one get on free drink offer (only one). You get a different colour ships card also to do with your status.
Offers will be received through your Crown and Anchors membership again dependant on status, thus the reason Thomson need to be realistic, but reasonable with whatever scheme they decide on
Nothing to do with cruising but I need a hug!
