I just wanted to give you my husband and I's experience around that time over the last few years. I recommend bringing your jackets as so cal is windy and cool in the evening and at night. Once we got into cabo San Lucas we noticed a significant weather change. We wore t shirts and shorts and swam in the ocean with just bathing suits, no wet suits, in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. Last Decmebr we did the resort/beach excursions in both cities and enjoyed sunning on the beach and by the pools. The weather got a little more humid in PV but nothing uncomfortable. Have a great time!

I see that Carnival has a new excursion in Cabo San Lucas called the
"Coastal Drive , Shopping and Beach Resort Getaway." Does anyone know the name of the resort that they use in this excursion? In the original excursion they use La Dora (which I LOVE), these pics look like its somewhere completely different. I ask because i want to be able to swim in the ocean , near Medano Beach

Does anyone know of some good hotel deals in Long Beach? I am cruising on 12/1/13 to Mexico. Last year hotel Maya had a great deal for carnival cruisers with free parking etc. Any ideas or suggestions would be super helpful!
Mexican Riviera With MS?

My Mama is joining us on our next cruise (April). We are going on the Carnival splendor to the Mexican Riviera. She has MS and uses a cane to walk. She can not walk long distances so I am trying to think about how to make this a nice trip for her. Has anyone ever cruised or done excursions in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, or Cab San Lucas with these types of restrictions? We are traveling with a 4 year old, 13 y/o, and 3 adults. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
