I've booked twice with Ambassador, and my Tilbury parking was booked each time at the same time as booking the cruise. I suggest giving them a ring, and they'll help you book it.
EDIT - looking at 'My Ambassador Sailing' Dashboard, there is a section on there 'Coaching and Car Parking', take a look in there, it contains details of car parking already booked and also a link to book your parking. -
Can anyone who has been on the 'Introduction to Rome' excursion, please confirm the duration of the trip? In one place it says 'full day, 9.5hrs, but further down it says 'half day tour'.
I tried emailing Cunard but have received no reply.
Thanks

I'm a bit bewildered. I am booked on a July '24 cruise on Queen Anne, and I have just phoned Cunard, as I now need to transfer my booking to a September cruise instead (I paid Cunard fare, which incudes the 'perk' of swapping cruises).
The operator that answered told me there were no comparable staterooms available, and yet, looking online, I can clearly choose from a dozen staterooms on the same forward section of the very same deck.
Why would they say there is none available? I really thought they would help me, but now I am left wondering if I was just fobbed off for some reason.
Has anyone had any similar experiences or can shed any possible light on this?
-
I hope so, I was being a bit paranoid as I noticed the wording 'purchased before 1st Sept', and since I have not yet paid for the cruise in full, wondered if they might argue I still have not actually purchased it, even though it has been booked & a deposit paid.
-
I've booked a Cunard cruise for next year, & paid the deposit so far, but still have not yet chosen my drinks package.
After seeing that Ambassador is raising their package prices by 18% in September, I wondered if anyone knows if or when Cunard are likely to make any increases?
If they are, I might as well buy the package sooner rather than later.
Thanks for any insights.

I've already booked a cruise for December, and the offer included drinks packages, so I hope I'm right to assume they will not try and sting me for any extra. Surely my booking invoice should be honoured regardless of this upcoming change?
I tried to phone them to check, but they are currently inundated with calls.

I just asked on Princess live chat, and the operator does indeed think they are adjusting prices.

Ah, it sounds like it's possibly just a web glitch.

Princess could be repricing this cruise.
Cheaper I hope haha.
I was wondering the same thing. After taking too long to just about decide on the Caribbean Princess, I have just spent ages checking prices and arrangements for leaving car at Southampton, getting train to Gatwick, flying to Miami, hiring car/hotels etc, and then went to Princess to find 'cruise not available' !
I hope it's not too big a price hike, or better still, just a faulty website.

We are a family of 5, so we had to book two cabins.... You can add credit cards for onboard charges via the APP or website once the cabins are booked.

As for dining, you can register you mum as a dining companion in the app and book a table together.
Many thanks for the replies, I'll probably give them a call to book.

Thanks for replying, but I meant how to book two cabins (and same dining table for both cabins) on the same cruise, as I wish to book for my Mum, who will be in the other cabin.
-
Hi,
is there any way to book & link two cabins online (so that any bills for both cabins, are covered by my credit card), and also to ensure that we get the same dining table?
Thanks

Hi,
is there any way to do this, or must I do it by phoning Cunard?
Thanks for any replies

I don't believe so. Give them a call to confirm though.

That's a great help, thank you 🙂

Hi, can anyone please clarify this (I've read the general information on the Ambassador site, but there seems to be a missing or half-sentence so it's ambiguous).
What exactly is the parking procedure?
Do I drop luggage and other passengers at the Dock and then take my car and park it ? ; or do I park the car first and take a shuttle to the terminal?
How much time do I need to allow for getting to the terminal after parking the car?
My embarkation time is not till 3pm with final embarkation at 4pm, so I don't want to be late checking in.
I know, I can check this with guest services, but I thought I'd get others' first hand experience,
Thanks

Hi,
Does anyone know how many formal nights there are likely to be on the 12 night British Isles cruise (Ambience)?
Thanks

Hi, I know there's a walking/jogging deck and yoga mats, but can anyone give more detail about the gym, in particular what are it's opening times?
Thanks

We've just sailed FLL to Tortola, St Kitts, Martinique, Antigua, St Martin, and the seas were generally described as '6 feet' most days, so just a very slight swell, and hardly noticeable at all (Serenade of the Seas), should be even less on the Navigator.
-
We just finished our cruise on Serenade, 26 Feb to 7 Mar, and it was absolutely fantastic.
I had been slightly concerned after reading some of the complaints about mediocre food and unfriendly staff, but I felt I should post here to say, in particular,
1) the food was superb -
excellent wide & varied choice in the Windjammer, and we always managed to find a seat, if not always in the immediate restaurant then in one of the adjoining areas;
Main dining room was very busy, we were MyTime dining, but after enjoying the first evening there, we managed to reserve the same table each night at 7.30pm, and again, the food was excellent.
2)The MDR staff, in particular Robet & Liliana, also the lady who was seating everyone, very sorry I do not remember her name, were so welcoming, courteous and efficient.
I mention those three in particular, but we were extremely well served by all staff in all parts of the ship.
We could not have been happier with our choice of ship, for us the Serenade is not too crowded, staff remember your face/name/choice of drink, & everywhere was clean & tidy.
My only complaints - no surprises -
a) internet way too expensive - it's time to break the mould & offer free wifi.
b) bingo is pointless - they now sell thirty or more cards on an ipad - you can go to sleep or to the toilet and still your cards are marked automatically - totally ruins the spirit of the game and is unfair on those who buy cards & marker pens to play the game as it should be played!
(I could add photos & drink packages are also too expensive but we all know that and it didn't stop us buying them).
Beautiful ship, and a most memorable cruise.

I find it refreshing that so many onboard are posting positive comments and clarifying the situation rather than all the negative.
Yes, it seems like most people who will be making a complaint or a claim are others who are not actually on board lololol.
-
The captain warned us of bad weather yesterday during the life boat drill as we were leaving NY. So yes he knew and took a calculated risk with our lives.
That is a grossly unfair statement.

You might be right, but I'm sure they will help you book it if you ring their support number. Good luck, enjoy your cruise.
