  1. Been that way for a while. Cabin mates don't necessarily have to be in the same residence, so it makes sense that there would be individual boarding passes like the airlines.

My sister and I live in different states and I was able to print the combined boarding pass on 9/3 for our 9/6 sailing.

  2. I just got off the phone with Carnival re: the balance eon my S&S acct that was from gift cards. She said there is no refund, and I will not be getting back the balance that was remaining. I feel like I need to call back and try to get someone different since obviously others of you HAVE gotten the balance back after returning home. She was adamant that is NEVER the case. She even pulled up the folios and confirmed there was money remaining... Seems to me that is a bit like stealing since it was basically the equivalent of cash applied to the account.

  3. I have purchased Bottomless Bubbles on all but one cruise - my recent Alaska one. It is always a good value for me. I take my carnival insulated cup with me to help keep it cold. I find it much easier to just go the bar myself to get the cup filled (usually in the Serenity area). The Breeze also has the fountain Coke at the rum and tequila bars on the pool deck, and that is my preference while watching Dive in movies.

  4. Frustrated because I never get these. On the Legend in May, my sister had fewer points on her card than I did, yet she was sent a cookie plate from the casino. And a friend who was on that cruise with us (it was his first cruise) also had fewer points than me and he has the new casino offers today.

  5. I have done the tour on both the Breeze and the Glory. The Breeze tour was waaaaaay better. I did that one first, so I was surprised to see just how different the galley areas are on the 2 ships. The bridge experience was much better on the Breeze. We were given individual and group pics with the captain, and also the group pic by the ship's bell. On the Glory tour we visited the photo studio, which was interesting. I agree that the laundry areas are very similar. After being so disappointed with the Glory tour, I could not bring myself to book it on the Legend.

  6. Glad I noticed this thread! Both my mom and I had balances left from gift cards applied. Neither of us have received anything yet, and we have been back since May 26th. Sounds like I need to email Carnival since everyone else seems to have received their funds a week or so after returning.

  7. When I have purchased BB in the past, they will only fill your personal cup if it is one of the Carnival ones you can buy on board or the Tervis cup given as a Platinum/Diamond gift. Last time I used BB was on the Glory last October.

  8. We got the call to extend our May 3 cruise on Dream out of New Orleans to the next week also but we couldn't go. He told me the offer was good for any family or friends so my sister took advantage of it. She got a Lido balcony (2 people) for $990 including all taxes and insurance. When we did a mock booking for the same room the cost was $2100 so it was an excellent deal. He said the offer was for as many people as wanted it.

Wow! If anyone gets this offer for the Sept 5th Glory sailing let me know. I am one of those hoping for a good pack and go price and will be sad if hey go away. Between the Alaska cruise I just got back from and the Vista one booked for 2016, I need a less expensive one.

  9. I just completed a cruise with an aft-extended balcony. I don't think I would rush to get one again unless it was an extremely good deal. We only got one because there were 3 of us to split the cost. I actually prefer the cove balcony, if I am going to pick that category. I just don't use the balcony enough to justify the extra expense. If I want to sit outside and relax I either go the Serenity area or the outside decks on the lobby level depending on if I want sun or shade.

  10. I was also on this cruise. I actually found embarkation in Vancouver to be pretty painless. Having to wait in the customs line was expected, but then I only waited 5 mins or so in the actual Carnival line. We had arrived at the terminal around 11. I thought I had read somewhere that Vancouver did not have a Priority line, so I was happily surprised to see one.

I also agree that debarkation was easy. We switched group 1 tags for group 14 so we could relax a little, and there was no line at all in the lobby when they called our number.
