So now I'm confused.... due to a price drop, I was upgraded from an interior to an ocean view guarantee for an upcoming sailing. After getting my new cabin assignment, it appears to be an accessible cabin. Am I not supposed to take the cabin now or is it okay since it is close to sailing? I thought this was only done if the cabin was available and hadn't been booked.

There have been times when I have seen inside cabins priced higher than ocean views. It just depends on how many cabins are available.

Location and number of beds in each cabin....size is the same regardless of the number designation.

Do you know why 4D is the most expensive? Or why 8D is cheapest?

Is the only difference between OVB categories 4D, 6D, and 8D the location of the cabin?

If not, what are the differences? I am booked in a 8D cabin right now but I noticed more availablity in the other categories, specifically on port side (where i originally wanted to be).

Yes you will need to call, I purchased the refreshment package for DS and myself and called and was able to purchase the deluxe package for DH only . You will need to give an explanation as to why the others in your cabin can't drink alcoholic.

The rules have changed and now they want all adults in a stateroom to purchase the alcoholic beverage package. If you call, they may let you get by with some getting the Refreshment package.
