In the diamond lounge and suite lounge they had some chocolate covered doughnuts that I loved! Didn't taste exactly like doughnuts from home, but still good. I would think that they have them in the windjammer too.
thank you!!
-
Important question from the hubs - well important to him:
Any sign of donuts on this cruise? and if so, are they gross asian-style like on Oasis or regular more American donuts?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Or, just change the name on your booking to match your passport....that's the cheapest way!
You will have a great time - IF you get on the ship, which you won't if your booking name does not match your required ID! The marriage cert only works if you are NEWLY married. I have seen them turn people away at the port for this very reason. So yes, either match the passport to your booking name, or book in the name the matches your ID.
and with that you will have a great time!!

Well fellow CC'ers, who'd a thunk my simple question would create such a stir!! No time for all this contemplation - I've got packing to do for the Oasis this Saturday!! As for what the hubs has decided...we are from Cali. You can draw your own conclusions.

While the "class" police are out -- perhaps one should note how unclassy it is to be staring anywhere but at one's face while talking, or to be lifting the tablecloth to inspect your dinner companions feet.
I am not sure why anyone would notice what someone is wearing on their feet at dinner. While I don't wear sandals or flip flops to dinner (or just about anywhere), I could give a rat's tutu if anyone else does.
I generally find those who go out of their way to find fault in others, when compared to "THEIR CORRECT WAY" aren't the kind of folks I want to spend time with anyway.......
Enjoy your cruise as you wish and allow others to enjoy theirs. Shoes are not something that should be interfering with anyone else's enjoyment of dinner.
Really -- with all the strife and insanity in the world today -- this is what sets your off??
Word.

You would have loved the guy that sat next to me in Chops one time. The nail on his big toe looked like a frito.
Blech!!

Since I am the planner and packer on vacation, I only allow my husband 4 pair of shoes.
He wears his sneakers to the ship, a pair of flip flops for beach and pool, a pair of brown shoes for casual nights and black dress shoes for formal nights.
I bring as many shoes as I please. Works for us. :)
sounds like an excellent plan!!

Ok so the hubs is struggling with what shoes to pack. My answer is this - as few as possible, so I can of course pack more shoes for me!
On casual nights in the MDR, he will likely wear a collared shirt, nice jeans, and would like to wear sandals, or even nice leather flip flops (not the beachy kind).
So the question is- what is allowed? not what you might personally prefer, but what will get him turned away at the door or not? Will the leather man sandals fly or not??
BTW he does get a pedi before the cruise. because their is nothing more gross than bad man feet. get a pedi, people.

I don't think you'll really be solo. If you are coming off the Oasis of the Seas, I think there will be lots of people walking to the same place. I know hubby and I will be!

Yes please - we sail in 36 days!

I used to love the midnight buffets. On Carnival they also had the late night dessert crepe buffet, at like 1:30 am, AFTER you filled up on the midnight buffet. That was awesome!!

How's the current sargassum seaweed in Cozumel, Costa Maya, And Rotan?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I was in Costa Maya last Tuesday - it was awful. terrible. Beaches totally unusable. We tried to go to the beach, but just headed back to the ship.
Cozumel was fine; we saw it in the water, but apparently the current push it off the west-facing beaches and over to Cancun.
No issues at all in Roatan - the beaches there were spectacular!
