Thank you so much.  We are on uniworld B to A leaving on the 25.  I been following your reports on the Rhine River and have been discouraged until today.  I now have a bit of a smile.

If you go into where you would find shore excursions or your itinerary, look for a square picture of a cabin room.  You should find your assignment on the picture.  Hope this helps.

Going from a larger ship to a smaller ship is certainly not ideal for those of us that booked specific cabins on the Zuiderdam.  Most that pick their cabins pick specific locations for their own reasons.  We also pick cabins with cabins above us and mid ship.  
 

We are still hanging in so far to see where we actually end up as right now they say it’s an AA guarantee.  That could be forward, aft and the sea view Lido above.  It’s hard being patient, lol.

We were moved from our VD 7098 on the Zuiderdam with cabins intentionally above us to the Volendams BB guarantee.  We now have the pleasure of chairs scrapping at the seaview pool above us while smoke drifts down from the smokers corner.  Am I happy?  NO!  I am usually a pretty positive person but this just tops one cruise being cancelled 2 days before sailing, another one being sold from under me, the inaugural being moved forward 2 months and now this.  I do realize these are tough times but....  Ok I have vented now I feel better.

The room is more square than rectangle, and feels larger. The closets are split between two different sides of the cabin, and the bathroom is not near them. There is no curtain to set the bath off from the rest of the room, and this can let light shine into the room when the bathroom door is opened in the middle of the night. Also, you have to be careful if you're entering when someone else is dressing. :eek: Just be aware. 😕

If the beds are separated you can't open the drawers at the foot, as they are blocked by the ends of the desk and sofa; if they're together, it's not a problem.

 

If I'm right, and these cabins are like 2619, then I would be happy in them. There's so much more walking space in the middle of the room you could almost dance there!

Did you get any noise from the laundry beside cabin2619?
