We were on mardi gras and agree with almost everything…….we did not purchase drink pkg we were on w drinks are free while playing in casino…..the first drink served i asked the bartender did you put any booze in this cocktail and he said do you  want a double for $3. More?  No i want you to make me a drink i can taste booze in we did not have that problem in the casino w free drinks just the ones we paid for ….  The whole seven days!   Never had a problem like this on the 40+ trips sailed on all different lines.

That being said we thought most of the food in MDR was great and the service also…..no tablecloths kind of made it look like a large cafeteria though.

We LOVED the entertainment the piano bar my personal  fav, the pig and anchor so comfortable and the music…..wow….there was not one person on that ship that moved from venue to venue that we did not like….put all the best entertainment on any ship we went  on and they were all on this cruise!

Bring your own fold up cooler bag and they will keep it filled with ice everyday!!!!

Cabin sizes of all balcony categories are virtually the same. The difference is the size of the balcony. We stayed in cabin 4020 on Kdam recently and the balcony is huge. This is deck 4, forward. All of these forward cabins have very large balconies, some with steel railings instead of plexiglass. They are also the lowest priced of all balcony categories. We loved it!!

Why is it so hard to find out about a cabin on a ship and if it has an overhang and you are looking at life boats....I have spent all day and can't figure it out and by the looks of it neither have you found any answers......sure hope someone posts something for you!

I called Princess cruise line and changed my room since the balcony on Baja was not completely covered ... as I mentioned above the only balconies with complete overhangs are the Aloha-Riviera-Emerald decks on Ruby Princess. Thanks everyone for your input!

Was the balcony completely under the cabin above so you are NOT sitting in the sun/rain? I want a completely covered balcony and can't seem to find any info on this....any help would be appreciated.
