Hi.

Cruising Pride on Sunday. I haven't cruised Carnival in a while, but I don't see the part on the itinerary where they show you which ports or docked/tendered.

Where can I find this info? I know Grand Cayman is usually tender and Cozumel is usually docked, but curious about Mahogany Bay and Belize.

book your drink package immediately and then watch for lower rates and rebook if necessary. they tend to go up, even if there are sales they may not be cheaper than your initial rate. pay close attention to black friday sales if your cruise is late 2023 or 2024

I feel like in general this class of ship has its emphasis inward: the promenade, central park, even boardwalk with very little reminding you that you are at sea.

My very few disappointments with the new menu was, no Waldorf Salad and no souffle.

I think the inward facing casitas are not the greatest choice, so I passed on booking one.

Still excited to try Royal and a "mega" ship.

After looking at this I actually checked out the menus linked in the article (NCL's site). Now It's been a while, but when did specialty restaurants stop having a flat fee and move to a la carte pricing? Was absolutely not prepared for that. On the other hand the food hall is listed under "dining" and mentions only Coco's is not a complimentary spot. I'm on Viva in 2024 so it'll be awhile and I think our booking came with a dining package.

They do NOT do the first for you... they ONLY book a time slot and you still have to pick a place when you get on board.  I just spent over an hour with RCL trying to get an answer on why I can see a UDP booking for Day 1 (August 5th sailing) of a time BUT no place?  They confirmed that only the slot is reserved and you still have to pick a place when u get on board.

Damn, it was so much easier when u could prebook everything before the cruise... Shows too!

I just saw that if you get a dining package you HAVE to reserve once onboard. They do the first for you but all others can only be done once onboard. If you don't have a package you can prebook.

Doing my first RCCL cruise in 20 years. Looking forward to trying the newest ship.

For the casitas do any face the ocean or can the loungers be turned towards the ocean?

What are the swimming pools hours? I couldn't find that on the site. Sovereign was the only ship I have ever been on that the pool was open at night.

At Labadee and Coco Cay are things still open on the ship?

Just booked the Feb 4 sailing in a Haven Aft Facing Penthouse. Looking forward to cruising again.

My birthday cruise on Edge last January.

My favorite spot in The Retreat, along with my favorite drink.

I'll chime in with my two cents. I've only seen the one side angle and the (to me) damaging photos from the family lawyer. From his photos you can clearly see the distance from the rail to the window. If you go back to the video, if the child was sat on the railing, it would seem we would have been able to see her. Following that line of thought, she had to be extended past the railing to be not show up on the camera.

I don't know what other camera angles caught, but there are cameras on the outside that can catch people jumping or throwing things overboard. So there has to be more footage, especially since it happened on the side facing the dock. I doubt anyone wants to see the innocent child's death, but surely they have the footage.

Yes they provide robes and slippers in the Sky Suite.

Date of Cruise:        January 27 - February 3, 2019                                                                                                                                         

Here's the room without the chair. I also pushed in the desk and moved that chair over to the now empty spot. This is a corner aft S1 Sky Suite.

On Edge now and they are removing the rocking chairs this evening. Supposedly it's to give us room to pack, but they're coming to get it while we're at dinner and bags need to be in the hall by 10 p.m. Plus, we're already packed! 

In fact I had already overheard talk that they were getting rid of them, but didn't really think much about it as I only heard a partial convo with no context. My immediate thought was we'll see.

Now here we are with the butler asking if he can take the chair.

It's a shame I really enjoyed it. It goes to show that while they do listen it always seems the negative voices are the loudest and most prolific. If you like something you should praise it loudly as well.
