They WILL be turned away and not allowed in the parking lot
That's what happened last week...
Go to the harbor have lunch and walk around ...

If we are delayed be patient!!
It's a nightmare in Baltimore when the ship is delayed! But you will get on board and have a fabulous time!! This ship and her crew is beyond amazing!!
Btw.. if you are delayed you can walk to
World of Beer in less than 5 minutes ;)

due to an unfortunate medical emergency the Pride will arrive 2 hours late tomorrow
Thoughts and prayers to the man who was medi-vaced off the ship
Just received this email..
Dear Carnival Pride Guest,
We want to take this opportunity to let you know Carnival Pride will be delayed arriving into Baltimore tomorrow as a result of a medical deviation experienced last night. We now expect to arrive at 12:00 PM.
Please add 2 hours to your pre-selected Arrival Appointment and plan to arrive at the new time.
All guests must be checked in and onboard by 6:00 PM. We will sail shortly after embarkation is completed and do not expect this delay to have any impact on our planned itinerary.
We apologize for this unexpected delay and thank you for your understanding. We are looking forward to providing you with a FUN and memorable cruise experience!
Sincerely,
-
we are doing the steak house also.. I KNOW the pickies will love that!
and we are a family of 10 cruising together so all meals will be together..and well I guess if they don't like something they can always get midnight pizza..
-
My hubby and I love gourmet food - and love trying new things.. some in our party of 10 might not.. just wondering how 'adventurous' the meal is? is there something to appeal to everyone?
I've heard the food is amazing! Just wondering if everyone will like it especially for $75 a person!

we used Butts up a few years ago and had a great time!!

:halo:
Yes I put them on my sign and sail and then charge from the slot machine to my card.Thank you Kingston 13.... and umm... I grew up in Kingston NY... and my parents still live there....
-
If I buy discounted carnival cards and apply them to my sign and sail when I get on board I can use that money for my gratuities right and even for the casino?? trying to decide if I should buy some more of the e-gift cards..
Thanks!

Leaving in 34 days!
can anyone tell me if our cabin steward can open the partitions or do I have to ask at guest services?
and does anyone have any pictures of the partition open on the Pride??
-
Yup just did it last night!
I bought the allstate cards.. and then purchased my Cheers package and water!
worked like a charm!
just enter the gift card numbers and pin # - there's a prompt that says enter additional gift cards.. don't know how many you can enter but I used 4!
Good Luck!
-
Thank you to those who have mentioned the Allstate Drivewise Carnival Cards!
I just purchased my cards and got Cheers and the water package.
Saving that 10% definitely makes cheers more palatable to buy!
Love Cruise Critics!!
Leaving on the Pride in 35 days!!

here's are 2 other questions - can you go up with 2 S&S cards and order 2 alcoholic drinks or do you have to be present with your card...
and if my husband and I both go to the bar will we each be able to order a drink using our respective cards?
kind of odd questions.. but I am still struggling with whether or not it's worth it to get cheers..
-
Can someone answer this simple question with out a nasty reply please?
If I order an alcoholic drink can I also order a virgin drink or a soda at the same time using my cheers program or do I have to wait the 5 minutes between orders??
Thanks for nice pleasant replies. They are appreciated!

When are you sailing???
Hey guys,My extended family and I sail in just a couple of weeks on the Pride. I absolutely adore reading reviews on CC, and as an English teacher by profession, I love to write as well.
There are seemingly TONS of Pride reviews already written, so I wanted to gauge interest for another one to add to the collection!
Basic info/topics covered would include:
- Driving to Baltimore from Central Indiana
- Traveling with husband, two kids (3 and 1), parents (60s) and brother (27)
- Previous cruises on Carnival and RCI, first time on Pride
- Celebrating my 30th birthday onboard
- No major excursions (we are more chill on the beach people, not so much scuba/snorkel/hike people)
- No fancy camera equipment: I have an iPhone and a Sony point and shoot at my disposal
My goal is to give the people what they want! ;):')
Let me know if I should plan for a review or pass this time. Thanks!

I think that's what it was called - Do they still have this game? I remember playing on the Legend 8 years ago and won alot and had a ton of fun playing.. Just wondering if they still have it!
-
No we both drink on vacation.. I'm very much aware that we both have to buy it.. but it doesn't make sense to buy it if it's only 15 drinks per cabin if that was the case I'd forego cheers and just buy as we drink.. if it's actually 30 drinks between the 2 of us that's different and I might consider it..
-
So the one thing I am still not clear on is it 15 drinks per person or do my husband and I have to split 15 drinks between the 2 of us.. ??
-
I did just book FTTF for our Pride trip out of Baltimore next June.. I hope it's worth it?? we have four cabins crusing together and got FTTF for all of us..
Thoughts???
Also what about cheers? It will be me, hubby and our 10year old in the cabin.. I am wondering if cheers is worth $804!? for hubby and I..
Can someone rationalize it.. how many drinks a day would we have to have to make it worth it???

We heard from a crew member that someone did pass away.
For those of you boarding today... please Keep that in perspective..
