Are you allowed to share their names on these boards? I have never used a PVP, but may do so for the next cruise. Thanks!

Which dining room is used on the Triumph for anytime dining?
Just back from Triumph this past Saturday. My time dining is in the London Dining Room.

We've done it twice...no problems at all.

Those are great!! Thanks!

Yes I have mixed feelings because its sold out for my cruise!
Yes!! Me too. :)

I have had haircuts (twice) and many blowouts onboard. I would definitely NOT get a haircut ever again on a ship. Blowout is pretty harmless, if they don't style it exactly to your liking, you can always tweak it a bit back in your cabin. You can't undo a bad cut.
My hair is a bit longer than yours, it sounds like, just past the shoulder (I think they call it medium length), and I believe it usually cost about $59, plus I give them an appropriate tip. Short hair maybe $49? These prices are from about December 2012 on Magic. I didn't visit the salon on my November 2013 cruise. Prices could have increased.

I'll be on the Magic Western Carib in 2 weeks-I've read that the 1st Elegant night is the 1st sea day, and that would be when lobster would be an option-I imagine it ould be the same on the Eastern itinerary, as well.(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong:o!)
Happy cruising!
January 19th on Magic? We are too! Lobster was served on the first formal night when I was on Magic 2 months ago, that was the Eastern itinerary. We did Eastern itinerary December 2012, I think lobster was the first formal night then as well.

Why? What happened?
Mona we had a fair amount of wet weather on this particular cruise and because there is no covering above this balcony, the balcony was always wet. Likewise, it was always dirty with soot, which I had not experienced on the previous aft balconies, as well as trash from those above us. When our neighbors above us moved their chairs around at night, it was very loud inside our cabin because their balcony is situated right above our beds...so it was same with those below us when we moved our chairs around. Privacy was an issue...normally when you are out on your side balcony, you rarely see anyone else around you.
For the record, I am not a complainer, I love to cruise and I love Carnival. This was just not a good balcony for me.

We recently sailed in 8468 on Magic. It was my 3rd time sailing aft...regretfully, I have to say it will be my last. :(

I left on January 4th once and the decorations were up on day one, they were down the next morning. But I think that was RCCL.

Great idea!!! :) I love sangria! And no problem bringing it onboard in place of wine?

49 for Carnival Magic and 78 for Royal Mariner of the Seas... I think. :)
Too long!!!!

Thinking of the corner balcony on Carnival Triumph, maybe deck 7 since deck 8 is below a pool and pizzeria area. Anyone have a comment about this area? Or about the corner balcony, called Premium Vista. Thank you!! Denise
