Tour of Cairo and Alexandria in Africa & Middle East Posted May 11, 2009 I used Ramses Travel on our stop in Egypt on our cruise in Apr 09. We had a great time. Our tour guide Marwan Sayed was very knowledgeable and well spoken in English. The pyramids and sphynx are truely amazing and how anyone can drive in that traffic is beyond me. I wish we had more time for King Tutts museum; how do you see it all ( maybe in 2 lifetimes). We took the 2 day tour and did Ciaro one day and Alexandria the next. Alexandria is a beautiful city, only a mere 5,000,000 people. The library is a working piece of art. Hard to say which place I like the best,gardens, palace, lighthouse etc. The food.... My only regret is we didn't do the Nile dinner cruise. I would go back thanks Ramses and Marwan. Laurie Eide Vancouver, Canada
