Same email cancelling our cruise out of Singapore next April. There doesn’t seem to be any sailings at all. Not sure why and unable to see if there is a similar itinerary on sale.
I’d be interested to hear of any you find!

I've just booked this tour with them through viator. It was a bit cheaper through that site.

I stayed in 726 a couple of years ago and found it very spacious and comfortable. I was only disturbed on the last night when they were moving luggage around in the internal crew area.
There was a lot of wardrobe space and drawers. The cabin itself is well appointed to get to different areas of the ship

We have just booked for 7th August 2019. We would have liked to have sailed on Celebration next year but seems it will not be adults only at that time.
-
We used TJ Travel who provided a wheelchair and an escort. Will definitely be using them again.

You can get the train or there's a ferry that takes you to Warnemunde.

TJ tours are brilliant. We had a tour with them last year and intend to book them again next year.

We used TJ Travel 29/30 July this year and they were absolutely fantastic. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We were given headsets even though there were only 16 of us and this made our tour even better as we could follow everything she was telling us in a relaxed manner, keeping safe and together at all times.
They provided my friend's husband with a wheelchair and a lovely young man named Vladimir to push him around the sights at no extra charge. TJ Travel went the extra mile and we were very impressed with their professional but personal approach.

Even if there were any 3 berth outside cabins on deck 4, it seems they have all been pre booked which leaves just 16 available on deck 3.
I'm not sure how they fill these outside cabins up on deck 3 ( meaning , do they just sell them as 2 berth to fill up the ship) and don't really want to pre book one as they all seem pretty much the same.
Any suggestions please?
-
Thank you, that rules out 418!
Do you remember the cabin number on deck 4 or if it was to the left or right of reception?
Just trying to find a decent 3 berth cabin with a bit more space!

I have just booked an outside cabin on Celebration. I have been on this ship before and Spirit the sister ship.
This time there will be three of us and so we will need a three berth cabin. Can anyone recommend a cabin please bearing in mind that we are all over 55?
I have been looking at 312 on deck 4 as it seems bigger and 418 on deck 3.
Any advice please? Will there be much swell felt in these cabins?
Thanks!

Thank you for posting your experiences, I seldom hear from anyone after they have visited my home. I love the Cabrio bus and make sure that I enjoy it at least once every season. The wall has become far too difficult for me and I much prefer the view from the top of Mt Srd, so now I enjoy the cable car. A short 4 minute ride up to the top and a glass of our Dalmatian wine, life cannot get any better. Do come back, try to avoid high season and may I suggest late September until mid October as the best time. Look forward to having a coffee with you next year.
That's very kind of you and something I shall look forward to.
I didn't have time to ride on the cable car and expect the view is stunning at the top!

Thanks for your advice Dubrovniktravellady
Just got back today! We took the Cabrio bus tour...they took us round one and a half times. Very good audio guide provided and photo stops. 60 kuna.
We got off at the old town and I climbed up and walked the walls. It was very hot and because I only had an hour, I didn't get all of the way round. I came down not long after the half way mark and walked back up through the Main Street. I met my friends by the fountain and refilled our water bottles.
Crossing the road by the Pile gate, it was easy to get a taxi back to port for €13 (set price).
I will definitely return one day!
-
Thank you once again.
I think we might pick up the bus by the port (stop1). Is it easy to find?
-
Thank you for all of your advice. We feel much more confident now. Just one more question...the rate of exchange gbp/ Hrk seems to be falling here . Do you know what rate we would get in Dubrovnik please?
(I understand thus might change)!
-
Thank you.
If there's only one bus, does it get very busy? It would be a shame to find that we couldn't get on!
-
Just to confirm as we're coming next week, that we can get a bus to the Pile Gate where we can pick up the Cabrio city tour bus?
I want to walk around the wall and maybe go up on the cable car but my friends don't as the husband has limited mobility. Does the bus return to the same point and would it be better for me to do the walls first or the bus tour?
Our ship , Thomson Celebration, doesn't leave until 10pm but we would like to be back onboard by 6pm at the latest.
Is this doable?
Thanks

There's a souk close to the marina. Also a lovely promenade along the beach front. We stayed in a hotel right at the very end .
Very friendly shopkeepers selling exactly the same things as the bigger souk mentioned previously.
Love the haggling.
You can also take a taxi to the ruins at the top of the hill that has the writing on. Not a lot there except camels and traders, but beautiful views over Agadir.
-
Thank you. It was coming in at half the price of other cruise companies and seemed to be selling fast.
I'm going on the Celebration at the end of August so we'll see how they compare!
-
I've booked to go on the Columbus next year from Tilbury. Fantastic itinerary taking in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, St Petersburg and Germany.
Looks amazing and I got a very good price.
Cabins look very spacious and have chosen cabin number (free). They also give you the option of having a free upgrade if available at the time of sailing.
Can't wait!
-
sod that! they can't advertise a cruise as "dubrovnik etc" and then not actually let you have any time in the place.
we also depart on celebration from dubrovnik, arrive 12 i think? so drop bags and rush off to get taxi into town and do walls before whatever time we have to be back.
Let me know how you get on please! When do you sail?
-
Thank you. I did ring Thomson and they said that it was a rest day and no excursions were planned for that day. I find that a bit strange as some passengers do a back2back and are on board for 2 weeks.
They also advised me to stay on the ship and not venture off incase I didn't get back in time for sail away!
Hopefully someone who is travelling soon will find out if there are any shuttle buses, otherwise I'll do as you suggest and get the bus or taxi.
So where is Quantum of the Seas heading now??
