Loved it and have booked the cabin again

I was interested in the Celebrity Flora, however my hesitation in booking comes from the zodiacs.

How difficult is it maneuver on and off the ship and land? It is our major reservation.

I just received the email changing the Sea to Chioggia. theres no detail as to how we will be processed.

do you know if we disembrake and pick up our luggage in Chioggia, or are we all transported to the orginial cruise terminal in Venice. The hotel I booked was especially close to the orginial terminal due to mobility issues.

We arrive in Venice on 11/7 at the end of our cruise. Our plan was to spend one night in Venice, then fly home. It sounds like tangled mess to arrive in the commercial port, be transported to the old terminal for luggage pickup ; and then proceed to a hotel for one night. Does anyone have a suggestion for a hotel close to the old terminal in Venice.With luggage it sounds tricky.

How do you find a driver with a car? Appreciate your advice. 

we were fortunate to have 2 days in St Petersburg, that said I would suggest a private tour. Years ago you could book a private tour and add 2 more people. This is what we did once on the ship you may meet someone you enjoy and won't mind spending the day with. It's all interesting, and requires some discipline to say to yourself let's move on to the next stop. We loved it all.
