We'll be there in three weeks.  We didn't make any plans other than shopping, but at this point, I'm prepared that if the protesting continues or escalates, we could end up at a different port.  It's hard to say, I think it's limited to the French side and it's business as usual on the dutch side.  Some countries are issuing travel advisories so I might hold off booking anything for now, just to be safe.

We're sailing on the Carnival Fascination in January.  I know that there are two other larger ships in port that day.   I've heard such great things about The Boatyard and I'm excited to spend the day there.  How busy will the Boatyard be?  How likely is it to sell out?  Is there a "drop dead" time where if we don't make it by then, we'll be out of luck?

Did you book in advance or just arrive on the day of?  I'd rather have a reservation than risk arriving and finding that they are full.  Does anyone have contact info to book reservations?  I've see a couple of sites from outside vendors taking reservations, but for $50+ per person, I assume that's their booking fee plus the hotel cost.
