  1. I am stating one night in FLL before a cruise in November.  It is the week of the boat show so rooms are scarce.  I am looking at either the Fairfield Inn Downtown on Federal Highway or the Hampton Inn North Cruise Port.

Has anyone had any experience or have any advice about either of these hotels?  I want to walk to a restaurant for dinner.

    Thanks in advance

  2. We are cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 2nd.  Going down early to visit friends in Orlando then driving to Lauderdale.  There must be something going on because so many hotels are already booked, ex.  the Hilton at the Marina, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites and Hyatt Place are all booked

Has anyone stayed at either the Hampton Inn on 12th Avenue or the Springhill Suites?   I need to return a car at Hertz and would like to be able to walk to a restaurant and stores.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  3. Yes- there will be three coming off the Escape from Bermuda on a Sunday. It is a domestic flight.  The flight arrangements were provided by NCL (free is not always best as they will not change them.) The tour is not offered on this cruise from NCL for that day.  I will call NCL to see if they can offer it.  The Schwartz luggage is also a good suggestion.

    Thanks

  4. Hi  I am travelling with family members who could not get a return flight home until 7:30 at night,  They need to be busy after disembarking.  NCL sometimes offers tours on that day but none are available after this cruise.  Does anyone know of any companies that will do a tour with pick up at the pier and drop off at the airport later?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. I will be in Bermuda in June and we plan to visit the caves.  There is a ship excursion but I was considering going on my own.  I think  the way to do it is to take the ferry to Hamilton and then either a bus or cab.  Does anyone know the cost of the ferry and the bus.  Also, is it a long bus ride from the ferry?

    Thank you for any assistance.

  6. I just returned from a 14 day cruise aboard NCL and called AT&T prior to leaving.  I placed the new cruise package on for $100 so I could call home as we had many sea days.  When trying to use my phone I received the message that if I wanted to use the service I needed to contact AT&T.  Needless to say, it was useless to me.  When returning home, I called and they refunded the fee to me which was fine but did not relieve that fact that I could not use the phone.

I also have the International Day Pass Service active on my phone which I think is better.  The advice to start it later in the day when at a port so that you can use it the next day in another port is very wise.

  7. Great Itinerary- We did the ship's Catamaran and snorkel tour in Barbados. While I generally do things on my own this was a great tour. The crew was outstanding and the snorkeling spot and beach very nice.

In St. Marten Bernard's Tours is awesome. He will meet you right at the pier and take you on a great tour of the island and you will have time at the beach.

  8. Thanks for the replies. I purchased the passes online for $135 each. I am looking forward to getting there early and enjoying the day. I spoke with someone at Bahamas Day Pass before purchasing.

  9. Hi,

I have seen this question posted before but can not find an answer. Has any one used Bahamasdaypass.com to purchase the pass for Atlantis? We want to use the water park along with seeing the aquarium and using the beach. Can we just go to Atlantis and show our cruise ID's and purchase a pass for this? I am trying to see if I can have this done before we arrive there to get the most out of the day. Thanks
