I'm sure there are many "no name" labs out there - as long as it lists your name, date/type of test and NEGATIVE it should be no issue.

So,  I just checked, it came to my phone but my name is not in the text,  the text is simply this:

"Thank you for entrusting ExovaDX and MON_MerrittSqMall with your card.  Your COVID-19 Antigen Test Result from 09/29/2021is Negative.  Your helath is important to us. For more information, visit ww>Exovadx.com"

I am probably over thinking but these are unchartered waters, not quite as cut and dried as the necessary the ID requirements.

  2. I had a test this morning in preparation for a Friday cruise on the Mariner.  I received a negative test result from a rapid antigen test this morning on my cell phone, It is bascially just a sentence saying my test result of today's date is negative and the lab's name with a link to the lab's website.  I don't know what I was expecting but I have a concern, I think because it is not Emed, navica, nomi or any other of the testing companies that I have heard everyone talking about.  The name of the lab is ExovaDX ?  Has anyone used them?  I am thinking that there are many different labs out there and I shouldn't be concerned but I am.........

Keep checking because some have said the previous times might open up at some point -- it did in my case and I was able to change.

I will do that, thanks for the info!  Along the same lines as this topic.....wondering if you can check luggage ahead of check in time.

  4. I went into my cruise for Mariner departing Oct 1, edited my check in information, there is an option that would allow me to choose a different time, all were later so I did not change. The following was on the screen where you have this option:

Note: Arrival outside your time slot will delay your boarding.

It appears they want you to arrive at the check in time assigned or chosen if able to edit.

I see I need to edit my signature for cruise history, lol.

  5. I have researched this topic and I find conflicting information. It seems that there is no designated Diamond Lounge, but I find some posts that say there is a nightly Diamond Event and others that say only the 3 drinks posted to your Sea Pass Card. I enjoy the lounge atmosphere for camaraderie, as well as the cocktails! I hope they have something somewhere. I am sure that someone has been recently and knows the answer to this question. TYIA for your help.

  6. Ok, after all this time of wondering, guessing, assuming, etc. I am finally going to ask. How does Bob know know ALL the answers?

    Does everyone else already know?

    Is it a secret?

Is he Richard D. Fain going incognito on cruise critic?

I just can't stand it any longer! Help!!

I do know why he shares all the answers with us, he is truly a very nice man!

  7. We are first time Carnival cruisers sailing on the Liberty on Feb 2nd; we are very much looking forward to the experience! Already happy about the fact that there are guest laundry facilities on board with irons, ahhh the little things. :)

I am assuming the main dining room(s) are open for breakfast and lunch at specific times, would that be every day or just sea days? Possibly varies from ship to ship?

    Thank you.

The MDR is open every sea day for brunch/lunch which lasts from about 8:30 to 1pm. You can order both breakfast items and lunch items for the whole time.

On port days, the dining room is open for only breakfast and serve a traditional breakfast menu, no lunch items.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served every day in the Lido buffet and other venues like burgers, deli, pizza.

Room service is free and 24 hours a day, also pizza.

I don't know if the Liberty has a Cucina Italian restaurant, but if it does it's free at lunch but there is a charge at dinner.

Thank you both for your responses. I really like that they are open for several hours for lunch and breakfast without closing and re-opening for the 2 meals. Less to keep track of, and on a cruise, I like less to keep track of, :D
