Going on explorer2 for 14 nights , the 2nd day is day at sea, and this what I think will be the captain night, anyone know when it will be on the second week 

hi , can’t understand why everyone going on this holiday from all other airports except Glasgow is early flights, we are 14.30 , don’t arrive until 18.30, by the time you go through customs,collect cases, get bus to ship it will be about 8pm, then wait for cases to arrive at room,when does the restaurant close ?, is it 9pm , won’t give me much time to get dressed and oh yeah, fit in the muster drill, not being a snob, but I’m not a buffet for dinner type of person, ok for a light lunch, wish tui would make our flights a few hours earlier, that would be a better help to us, never mind, all you people that are on early doors, don’t stand in my way for a drink at the bars,as I’ve got a lot of catching up to do to catch up with youz

hi, does anyone know when we go to Mahon , can I buy loads of duty free cigs ( about 3000) in town and take them back on board with me, without a problem , a good few years ago,when we stopped into Barcelona,I bought about the same, got back to port, put my bags thru the scanners before we went onto ship, no probs, then there were 2 girls, looked like police,or port authorities( not sure) , but they started to pull all of my cigs out my bags , but I was putting them back in saying it was my own duty free allowance, they called someone and after a little stand off, they just threw me the bags and said go, don’t want to go thru all that again, felt like a bloody criminal , any help anyone :D

Davidth10,I always go thomson/ Marella, and think they are great ships with great people, you probably get drunks on every ship, and people falling out, it doesn’t mean we are all scum ( well that’s what you are really calling us) maybe you should sail with the royal yacht Britannia, or Cunard, I have been in fancy hotels and ( so called )gentleman leaving the toilets don’t even wash their hands never mind sanitize , ok it was a cheap affordable cruise for some, but now they are charging prices similar to other cruise companies, maybe the working men won’t be able to afford it, well sorry I’m a HARD working man and I am still going to use Marella ,because their the friendliest ships in the world and not full of toffee nose ( pretend) snobs , if their that snobby why they on the so called working mans ship, anyway enjoy your next cruise whoever you go with

Hi does anyone have a bar menu for the celebration, I was on the spirit a couple of months ago, and know the bar menus are different on the celebration, can anyone help

You don't need a penguin suit or any other suit for dinner, even captains night,men need to be a bit smart dressed, I mean no jeans with holes all over them, or silly t shirts or Rab c nissbet simmets lol, when I went the Caribbean cruise last year on dream , well I'm a Scot so I took full dress, but wasn't needed, going on spirit this weekend and only taking a shirt and tie for captains night, might not even wear the tie,depends how I feel, have a great time

Regarding tui discovery,my neighbors are just back from a cruise and she said the frozen cocktails , branded spirits and her man was getting bottled beers,I.e bud,corona, and peroni lager , hope this helps, I'm booking for next year :D

Well said Nancy, it's not just on cruises, it's on most holidays, we scots always pay more, and it's nothing to do with airport taxes, that's what they try to make out, maybe one day prices will become even

Celebration going to Dubai in January 17 , well I hope so as I'm booked on her for then

Personally I don't think cruising is a kids holiday, they should be next to a pool and beach , a good AI hotel is where parents should take kids, thank god I go cruising out of school times, don't think I could handle 300+ kids, there would be a lot of falling out with parents ;)

Deffinetly 2 nights , one each week, have fun

If I was you I would go on the Dream, I. Went on it last January for 2 week Caribbean cruise, it was great, I've heard the majesty is not that good, but still a decent ship

Never done the majesty yet, but heard it's the worst out of them all,no stabilisers in rough weather, and will wait to the price of discovery goes down in accordance with the rest of the ships

Linda our first ever cruise our bill came to £800 for 1 week, that's why we always take the drinks package, it's worth it even for cola,lemonade and water ,never mind a few halfs lol.
