Interesting!  TY for the clarification, I only get offers (bounceback/premier/ultra/dealers choice, etc.) that give casino cash. Have never received the hot streak offer.

Yes, Hot Streak is the name of the offer.  So its split between the 2 of us and is just like a regular OBC?  So would I be able to cash it out at the casino and give it to my mom?  She's the big gambler and would like to give it all to her.  Like I said, I don't drink or gamble so other than gratuities, not sure what to spend it on.

  2. Cruising with my mom and booked using her player's club offer of $500 OBC per cabin.  Is that $500 split between the two of us or credited to her since it was her offer?  If its credited to both of us, is there a way I can transfer the money to her?  I don't plan on gambling or drinking much and we book our excursions on our own.  Can I go to Guest Services or the casino cashier or cash it out at the slots?  Never cruised under a player's club offer so not sure if their OBC has different rules.

  3. I must be missing something.  Where can I find the fare information - what I paid for the cruise, taxes, amount due, etc?

When I booked the cruise I didn't even receive and email with that information.  Just a payment confirmation email with what I paid for the deposit.  I didn't receive a summary email.

I also have "no cruise documents available at this time".   When will they be available? Is this the Sail Pass and luggage tags?

  4. I've mostly cruised Carnival, so I'm trying to figure out how Royal works so I have some questions.  I will be on the Enchantment of the Seas.

    1) Do you pick a time to arrive at port to check-in like in Carnival or do you just show up whenever?

    2) On Embarkation lunch, are there any out of the way places to try before the masses find them?  (Like the Italian place and deli on Carnival)

    3) I've read on these boards that you can make reservations for shows.  Does that apply to EOTS?  Does that include comedy club?  Is there a comedy club?

    4) Is there an on-board app for RC which gives the list of activities?

Any other helpful tips on what to expect is different on RC so I don't miss out on anything?

    Thanks!

  5. There is an annual poker tournament for all the winners of the weekly cruise tournament. This year its on the Breeze in August. Its held in one of the conference rooms and they bring in about 10 extra poker tables. Last year there was around 400 people playing. They split the people into different sessions and they play until there are X people left. Then they are regroups and assigned another session and so on until the final table.

All sessions are on sea days or in the evenings so you have free time in port.

You can usually find a entry ticket on sale on ebay from a person who won a weekly tournament but can't cruise again for the big tournament. I believe it has a 25% off your cruise but it can't be used with early saver.

  6. I want to take the bus to the Turtle Farm. From the bus map, I know I need the yellow line bus. What I can't tell from the map, is where the bust stops are? Anyone ride the bus to the Turtle Farm and know where the stop is?

    Thanks!

  7. We are a group of 16 that are going on the Miracle in Dec. Some of us have some questions about the ship like is there a sushi bar, does the pool have fresh or salt water? What are the shows on the ship right now and is there a coverd pool. If some of you that have recently been on the Miracle could help. I'm sure there will be more questions to come :-) !

    Salt water pool.

Shows: Ticket to Ride (Beatles themed show), Music through the Decades, music

    Covered pool, but not heated

  8. We're not canceling either. We'll miss Ketchikan, but like the additional time in Juneau and Victoria. And we already have our 25% off applied to our next cruise. My only problem is that now they've changed the fixed dining times to 5:30 and 7:45, and 5:30 is just too darned early for us. When I tried to change to Your Time Dining I got waitlisted. This may be the first cruise where we have dinner on the Lido deck at least once....

Where did you get the information that they were changing the dining times?

  9. We did the 7.5 hour Chilkoot tour this summer with our two daughters 18 and 20. Train up, bus down with dogcart ride. The time went very quickly. The bus stopped numerous time for photo ops and the driver was very talkative. I would highly recommend the tour. It was our favorite excursion.

We're looking at this tour too. So 3+ hours continuous on the train? Then stop for lunch and dogcart ride. The bus ride down with stops to get out?

I was afraid it was a long train ride up and a long bus ride down.
