  1. Thank you all for your help. I think that because we have been on the ship so many times we are leaning towards getting on the ship at 2. We just didn't know how crowded it would be around that time. It sure is going to be difficult to wait to get on until 2 when we can see her from where we live!

  2. So we've cruised the pride several times since it arrived in Baltimore, however we haven't been on her in over a year. But we are leaving sunday!

One question that we seem to be tossing around a lot this year is this. What time should we get to the port. The time to arrive has changed a lot over the past few years so we are just wondering. We however can see the port from our apartment building so, we don't want to arrive too early and just sit in the loading area but we don't want to arrive too late because we do like to have time on the boat before it leaves. So my question is what is a good time to get there. We don't want to wait in line forever (yes i know we are going to have to wait). We were thinking 130, but we don't know if thats too early.

I sound like I've never cruised before, but now that we no longer have to drive 45 minutes to the port(we recently moved into Baltimore city), we don't know when to arrive!

    Thank you for your help!

  3. We tried it on our last cruise and found that we really didn't drink back the money we spent. sure there might be some days/nights that you actually drink the amount that you pay, but what about the days that you get off the ship and drink in the port or you get back from your day off the ship and are extremely exhausted and just hang out and do much drinking. I think there were days when we drank the amount that we paid but there were days that we didn't. We don't think that we will do it again because it really isn't worth the amount of money that you are paying. There are also things that aren't included on the program. I could be wrong but I think the Drink of the days aren't included as well as the shots at dinner that the waiters bring around. Don't quote me on that because i could be wrong.

  4. We have cruised out of Baltimore 3 times in January and it's awesome! There have been times when we got on the ship and you could sit out side without it being too terribly cold where as other times you can't sit out there at all! But it really is still wonderful! It's nice to get out of the cold weather even if it is only for a few days! You start to hit warmer weather when you are around the Carolina's....although it's still not summer warm but it's warmer than Baltimore! On the way back you will hit rough seas the night before the last sea day and that is due to the fact the warm and cold waters are hitting each other(at least that's what we've been told) ! You really should try going out of Baltimore it's cheap, fun and you save on airfare!
