I think the dispenser is dispensing shampoo. It’s not blue like their shower gel. I wonder if they went to one of those things you can allegedly use for both? I dont buy into that stuff.

Although I did do it that way my first few weeks in the military. We would all get in a shower that had like 5 or 6 shower heads. You’d get 5 seconds under each head and they’d scream rotate! So you had 25-30 seconds to shower and wash your hair. I quickly realized I didn’t have time for both shower gel and shampoo. So I started washing my hair with shower gel.

It's a cheap version of the 2n1 body wash/shampoo.  Not much of a scent.  It's great for my husband with no hair.  Me on the other hand would need to use half a bottle of conditioner to get it out of mine lol

Is there a name for the husband of a Karen who can’t ever disagree with her publicly for fear of her wrath? I know there’s been discussion on what the male version of a Karen is (Terry, Ken, Chad…IMHO a male Karen is still just a Karen.) But we need a name for the embarrassed husband that quietly follows behind a Karen.

People need to remember this is a budget cruise line. That doesn’t excuse everything, but it means that some things are not going to be as perfect as you expected, and you gotta expect and accept that. I’ve had a couple mishaps on previous Carnival cruises, but I come back because on average it’s a great product and the value for what you pay is outstanding. And I never yell or slam my hands on the table because I’m a decent person and have worked customer service jobs (which should be a requirement for everyone to do 6 months in a customer-facing job for every single adult, then we’d be a much more polite society if people realized just how stupid they look throwing tantrums about small things.)

The couple next to me at dinner yesterday sent back three entrees saying “these are all HORRIBLE! Just inedible!.” (It’s fine to send back a dish if you’re not enjoying it, but you don’t have to be rude about it.) Meanwhile I sent back two clean entree plates and enjoyed every bite…can’t go wrong with the Indian Vegetarian, and the other one was just fine too. Not the best meal I ever had, but I don’t expect it to be at this price point.

Simon.  As in Simple Simon...he's just a go with the flow guy and accepts everything that is given to him in life including her.  Not sure what "Karen's" age was but maybe it's menopause--those hot flashes can be brutal!  Lol  (No offense to any Simon's out there!)

Later we went to dinner. We didn’t realize it was another cruise elegant night. Paul was wearing shorts and the hostess politely told him shorts aren’t allowed. It only took him a few minutes to run up and change. Another guy nearby was grumbling about being told to change. But the guy seated right next to us once we finally were seated was wearing cargo shorts. So I guess the policy is inconsistently enforced. Doesn’t matter to us. We are fine with following the policy and Paul had no problem at all with changing his pants to comply, but it doesn’t bother us if someone nearby is wearing shorts.

By the way, the Carnival Hub app works great for mealtimes. It is easy to check in, and the app notifies you when your table is ready. It always showed us “less than a 10 minute wait” when we checked in. Once it notifies you that your table is ready, you show up and are seated immediately. No more long lines at the dining room.

Neither of us got the lobster, so no pics of that, sorry.

The guy who got away with shorts probably wasn't anytime or wasn't seen--having anytime you had to check in.  That is really the only time I have seen people turned away is when they are checking in for dinner

I just tried again for Drink Package, Cruise Cash and SPA and all it says is invalid.  5/14/22 sailing

It was a glitch that has been fixed.  It will only work on spa treatments for cruises 5/18-11/08/22

For me it seems to work for 2022 cruises but not 2023 or 2024.  added some cruise cash to my Bermuda cruise. But I tried canceling an excursion and rebooking it. Even though they removed the excursion from my bookings, when I try to re-book it says I have a scheduling conflict and it won't allow me to book it. Maybe that will go away before the sale is over.

It is good for cruises 5/18-11/08/2022

I'm not sure in regards to your situation, but  I still receive offers everyday-from$500 to $1000 fun play, free suites,  elite offers for both U.S. and Australia, etc. and due to various situations, my last  cruise was over 7 years ago.

Maybe they are still trying to get you back!  😁
