I purchase the surf package one device pack with Select CC discount during my past Silhouette cruise,  I used a iPhone Xs switched with my DW iPhone 5s or with the iMacs in the iLounge. Whatsapp: only text, No photos or videos. FB: I can upload photos, no videos. email: (Yahoo) I can attach photos. Web sites: very little use only the essential and all good without restrictions. NO WiFi calls.

Hi, please can you tell me if with the Surf package you were able to use the Facebook app or other apps in your phone? and if you were able to post your pictures on Facebook and see the pictures in there from your friends. Thanks!

Thank you very much for taking your cruise time to write this blog, we really have enjoyed reading about your journey!

We are doing a B2B cruise on the Reflection on June 08-29th and its going to be our first time on the Reflection, so all your effort is a great help for us! ;)

Also our first TA is going to be on November 23th on the Eclipse for 16 days (Barcelona to Argentina) but even though it is a different ship you gave us a lot of information for our TA cruise.

We are going to keep following you here on CC and on Instagram, maybe one day we get lucky and see you onboard.

    Safe Travels!

  5. Not been to Schermerhorn but we loved Zaanse Schans. We went there on a land vacation and just took the local bus from Amsterdam Central station. It's a very interesting place and picturesque too.

Schermerhorn is less touristic but you will only see 1 windmill there. Zaanse Schans is more touristic, you will see (and visit by paying entrance fee) more windmills. Also how klompen (clogs) are made, taste various cheeses etc.

Zaanse Schans is also closer to Amsterdam

Thank you very much for the advice! ;p

  6. Hello Everybody!

We are a family party of 6 people and looking for 4-6 more people to join our private tour. The maximum total of people will be 10-12 people…very manageable size.

We are using the same License Tourist Guide from our past St. Petersburg Tour in 2012 and she is so good and professional that we don't want to risk it and try somebody else.

    This is the itinerary:

  8. There are basically three choices of itineraries:

1-10 day or so turn around cruise from Florida where you go through Gatun Locks into the Canal on the Atlantic side, get off in Gatun Lake to explore Panama, while the ship returns to Colon, on the Atlantic side to wait for guests to return from tours.

2 - Complete Canal Transit where you go from one ocean to the other going through Panama, but generally not stopping. You go through all the locks and see the entire Canal, but only the Canal.

3 - "2-Day Panama" option - which IMHO is THE BEST option because you go through the entire Canal from ocean to ocean AND you get a full day in Amador ("Fuerte Amador") which is part of Panama City. That extra day allows you to experience Panama.

I would make your choice not based on loyalty to any one cruise line, but based on the best itinerary. There is a wealth of information on this board. Do some reading and research about the Canal before your trip [this is not a shameless plug!] and you will get a whole lot more out of your Canal Cruise whichever itinerary you choose.

    Regards and Happy Holidays! Richard

Hello Richard, thanks for your fast reply. We are just going to be in Panama from 8am to 5pm, just a cruise stopover. That's why we are debating if we go to Panama City or stay in Colon. We would like to know which of the locks (Miraflores or Gatun) are better to see in a 1 day tour.

    Thanks a lot,

    Emy

  9. Hello, we are going to cruise with Celebrity and going to stopover in Colon, Panama... we are researching some tours itineraries by Travel Agencies and still not sure if we are going to go all the way to Panama City to see the Miraflores Locks or stay in Colon for the Gatun Locks... any advice will be great!

    Thanks a lot! ;)
