I have asked this question in several existing threads without getting a response. Are Alaskan cruises more casual than other cruises as far as dress? We do not usually cruise on Princess. Is it more formal for dinner wear than other cruise lines? Thanks!

Evening wear on a Princess Alaskan cruise..... I am finding very conflicting information on what is common and/or appropriate. I am used to being able to drive to the port and get onboard with as much luggage as I want and I love to dress up for dinner. But with airline baggage weight restrictions, I want to keep things as minimal as possible. Recommendations please???
