I have sailed her twice and did not smell anything, however just this week they had a small fire in a cabin on deck 6 aft so hopefully that smell will be gone when i sail in Oct.

You can always price the smokes in the ports if they are cheaper then purchase them there technically you are permitted 1 carton per adult.

I have cruised on the sunshine I had a balcony on deck 8 and it had no fridge/mini bar I am booked again in October i am on deck 9 interior no fridge/mini bar (I have requested one tho) my sister is in a balcony on deck 6 and they told me she does not have one either.

The first day the funship special is Rum Punch and i have a few.....

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon a few times, it has a lot of fast food and a couple drug stores right there the people are nice and the shuttle is great. I have stayed at Embassy Suites also it was nice. The Hyatt House was nice they do not have a shuttle but was told they could get me a cab, they said it would cost 50 bucks (not true) a cab is like 18.00 and 16.00 if you pay cash, also they will take you to the drug store.

My PVP told me that they were all sold out, glad I got mine booked!

I was lucky enough to receive the Ultra invite going on the Glory December 3rd, went last year I had a blast. DCHONEY I am also booked on the Sunshine October 23rd.

Also please be advised not all balcony rooms on Sunshine have fridges when you call to book ask the PVP specifically if your room will have one if you want one. I cruised Sunshine last year had a balcony on deck and we did not have a fridge.

I had one and I loved it. It only had one drawback for me that is. in the evening make sure your curtains are closed really good because people can see in if you have your lights or tv on, my son told me that is how he and is brother would check to see if I was in my room.

Must be a San Juan thing because in July I had purchased an 8-pack of canned coke and it was sealed in plastic and the lady security proceeded to tell me that I could not bring them on board and well me being I challenged her and told her it was a 12-pack per person she said I was wrong it was a 6-pack and she went and got somebody else and I told them the same thing he told her I was correct and I could not resist saying I told you so!!!

After cruising with my sons for a couple years, I booked 1 for me ans wow it was great not having to wait on anyone to finish getting ready, had a big ole bed all for myself and as far as dinner they sat me with 8 other solo cruisers and all in all it was awesome, So awesome in fact I did it again a month later!!

Hampton Inn (blue Lagoon) has shuttle service close to a drug store, grocery store and liqior store all walking distance.

I was on deck 8 in October. It is easy to get anywhere from there, however what would also help me decide what floor is I would check to see which room had a a mini fridge in there, not all rooms on Sunshine has them.

I am on deck 8 Balcony and I do have a refridge so dont get a room on that deck

I will be there also, can't wait seems like it has taken forever to get here. Are you staying in Florida the night before? My sister and I will be in Florida on Friday staying at the Radisson and they are picking us up there Saturday morning to go to the port.

I stay with Carnival because they keep giving me free cruise since last year I have been on 6 all on the casino. I f they keep them coming I will keep going.

Wow that spread looks awesome, I think I gained weight just looking at it. i am so looking forward to this review. I think I have one of those robes, Carlos gave it to me like 3 cruises ago. I just wish October would hurry up and get here because I am so ready for this vacation.

Seems like everytime I turn around I am getting casino offers.

I had this room on the conquest in July and I loved it, the only draw back is you will have people trying to see in your room so in the daytime its difficult but PLEASE make sure you close your curtains when the sun goes down because they will be able to see you in your all togethers. I actually had a grown man with his face pressed against the window it was in the day so I walked out on the deck and in a Loud voice told him it was rude to try to look in peoples windows, and told him he was a pervert, and turned and walk back inside. he was very embarassed and frankly I did not care.

I made the mistake of asking my son to check the closets to see if I had gotten everything he said he checked well he didnt I called Carnival as soon as I got home descibed all the clothes that I had left they opened a claim and I have never heard another word. Guess someone got themselves some new clothes
