  1. I also had L723 book for the Med. It still makes me mad that everyone at Princess said it wrapped around. As you know, it is not a wrap balcony. I changed to A726 and am keeping my fingers crossed that it wraps around. Enjoy your cruise

I would also be interested in the extent of the wrap around on A726.

Have it booked for the Panama and hope it has a good aft view

  2. We'll be on the Sky next month in cabin 8201. We'll have a hot tub out on the balcony. If you've used that hot tub before, can you tell me how hot the water gets? Or is it a luke warm water.

It is easy to set the temperature at any level you desire.

We had it cool on hot days and warm to hot during

cool evenings. It does take a while to fill each time

    you wish to use it.

  3. Just wondered if anyone might know if NCL Sun has Zumba classes offered and if it is an extra cost? Also, does anyone recall if they have a slot tournament on the Sun? Thanks in advance!

We were on the Sun in April/May.

That time they had Zumba lessons on a regular basis.

There was no cost at that time. People just joined in

    as they wished.

  4. We recently returned from an 11 da cruise on the Sun. We had a penthouse ( family ) suite. We have been on several NCL cruises and most cruises were in a penthouse so we had a butler. Maybe we are the exception but we didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary. He brought the daily treats and we asked him to change the champagne in cabin for a merlot. I like when the butler isn't checking on us and bothering us and I don't especially need to make a new friend, ask about his homeland, does he like his job etc.

Actually the concierge for the suites bothered me. Every breakfast and lunch at the La Cucina on the Sun ( changed name from Il Adagio ) she would visit our table and make small talk. I felt it was rude to continue eating when she was talking to us and often she would go on and on for at least 5 min. The only thing we asked her to do was make reservations for dinner one night at Le Bistro and when we showed up, the lady said there was no reservation for us. She seated us anyway. Of course we generously tipped the concierge and butler even though we are totally low maintenance and ended up making our own reservations.

We were on the same cruise. We thought the concierge, Leah was fantastic.

She made our cruise amazing. We certainly enjoyed the chats at Breakfast and lunch. Covered many of the things we wanted to do at that time.

  5. I was on the breakaway in a Haven aft and I feel we had the worst butler ever. I think we annoyed him every time we talked to him. I really liked our night butler. He would bring our morning coffee and danishes. and he always made us feel like he enjoyed doing it!

So ask you, did you have a crappy butler? If so, did his name start with a J?

We came off 31 days on the SUN. We had Constancio as our butler. He was absolutely fabulous. Always there for us, ready to assist but not intrusive. Did everything we asked accurately and on time. Very peasant and a pleasure to talk with him.

  6. Based on CC recommendations DH and I are booked with Duke Soares for a May 31st island excursion. Rate is $40.00 per hour for up to 4 people. It's $55.00 per hour for 5-6 people. Tour is minimum of 3 hours. He suggests to start early and to get a good overview of the island you would need at least 4 or 5 hours.

I tried to contact Duke at: bdashortz at hotmail dot bm

    regarding a visit this fall

Does anyone know if he is still in business and/or has a new email

    address?
