Thanks so much!

Where can I find a simple explanation of the Oceania flight program? I searched to no avail. I'm trying to "guesstimate" the cost of an extra night in LosAngeles, before coastal cruise, thus flight change as well. I'm sure it's there in plain English. My wife requires extra leg room, so would I be better off arranging flight myself?
I'm sure veterans have this down pat, not me. Thanks for any help, suggestions.

The booking was with Singapore Airlines. However, the Celebrity ship was rerouted to Dubai, rendering that ticket of no value. I did advise the airline as soon as I knew. Like others, I've gotten "open ticket" offers, which I don't need. I understand that things have developed over the course of this virus, but 5 months seems a long time for a remedy. I think I'm convinced that, on future international bookings, I'll go with the cruise line air package. Celebrity has been delightful about other related costs.

Has anyone had dealings with Singapore Airlines after missing flights because of curtailed Celebrity cruise to Singapore? I've been told a variety of things by reps at various times. Latest info, by someone who actually seemed to know what she was talking about, is that I'll get a refund. I expect delay but no indication of how long. Other's experience?

How does an open ticket work?
While Singapore Airlines will not refund a flight I was unable to take because of Celebrity's rerouting of the Constellation, it does offer an open ticket. I have no idea how it works. Must the "open" ticket also originate in Singapore, or does it apply anywhere Singapore flies? Is it "spent" to full value, or just the original route? A ticket originating in Singapore would be of no use to me, yet I don't want to lose the money. I've gone through this with several Singapore Airlines reps, but they say their guidelines simply states that an open ticket is offered. Trying to straighten this out has been a nightmare.

Singapore Airlines is offering an "open ticket" for the Singapore flight I missed when Celebrity Constellation was rerouted from Thailand and Singapore. I don't have a clue how this works, and the Airline is so swamped that calling is a challenge. Does this mean the ticket FROM Singapore, which I no longer need, is replaced with a ticket from Singapore?. Or can I use the ticket on any Singapore Airlines route? I've gotten no documentation yet, and I hope I don't have to start all over with this matter. Guidance appreciated.

Thanks so much for the encouraging responses. I'm looking forward to a splendid trip from Rome!

Our cabin assignment, 8103, on the Koningsdam, is near elevators AND below the lido deck. The location looks to be in a quiet area below 9, but I am concerned about the elevators. Would appreciate hearing from any veterans of that cabin. There could be a chance of changing location before October.
Fly from Southampton England?
in Oceania Cruises
Posted
Our July 2023 cruise ends in Southampton England. Has anyone experienced this before? Flights from London would take far less time, but we don't know where Oceania passengers typically fly from. It's a long way off, but just wondering.
