  1. We are thinking about booking the Snorkeling at Coronados Island on our upcoming Ruby Princess cruise. If you have taken this excursion, can you let me know how it went? Also, Does the boat that gets you to the island pull up to the beach to let you off or does if stop in deeper water and you have to swim ashore (sounds like a crazy question, but several years ago we had to swim ashore about 15 yards on a similar excursion). Are there restroom facilities on the island?

    Thanks.

  2. Our first cruise was on the Song of Norway, Royal Caribbean in January 1997. We will never forget it. We got married on our first cruise. We are booked on the Royal Princess for a 49-day cruise and it will be our 18th cruise. So many amazing memories and many more to come. What a journey!
Our first cruise as well! April 1988 for our honeymoon. The Song of Norway was nicknamed the Song of Nausea because it was a stretched ship and was long and narrow. I believe it was the first cruise ship that had a section added years after it was built.

Thanks for posting this review of the kids program. Too many families are often guided away from Celebrity because their kid's program is not highly publicized. We also feel the same way you do about their program. Celebrity is a main-stream line that despite what some people on this board admit to , is a family oriented cruise line. Just because there isn't a rock climbing wall or Disney characters does not mean that your child would enjoy their program any less. The counselors do a great job & keep everyone involved with activities. BTW, are you part of the PatC group?
