Thank you for your suggestions. Am using and will continue to use our ships roll call but there seems to be a limited audience.

Celebrity has a very strict "no solicitation" policy:
So even posting a note on your door, or cold-calling fellow passengers from your roll call at a meet and greet in the presence of the ship's officers, could be big trouble. Safe to say that advertising your competitive service on the ship's whiteboard which is usually right near the shore excursions desk is a non-starter.

Is it possible to place a notice on the community noticeboard to try to fill a share tour or is this not allowed.

There are many different private tour operators, but they are not lined up at the port looking for business. For the most part, other than HOHO type tours, you need to arrange in advance.

Are these ports similar to Alaskan and Pacific Island cruises where there are a selection of tour operators to choose from. Visiting in Sept but finding it a challenge to join tours.

Cruising Mediterranean 12 days next August and enquired about bev pak and was quoted 'red hot' A$824ea and non alcoholic pak A$489ea. Be surprised if RC will win cruisers this way, hope they chill and review their bev pack before we sail. Other cruise lines definately spoil you for choice.
