We will be in 12248 next week.......I will let you know but I have only heard good things about it. :)

thank you so much.....have been to Bermuda a few times and never have seen this beach.......its time :) plus I hate the stress of having to get to certain excursions at certain times etc.... life is scheduled enough, its a vacation for a reason ;)
Would you recommend the vans as well.......we took the bus last time out to Elbow Beach area and it was relentlessly slow and stopped so often......never again

thanks so much for the review........we sail in a week. We were on quantum in 2014 with our four kids and had a nice time, imagining this will be even better since we are leaving them home :) and thanks for the Horseshoe van info, that is what we plan to do as well. Do you think you need to arrive early at Horseshoe to get chairs/umbrella, it will be a Saturday but we are the only ship in port from what I can tell. We leave in a week!! need to start packing :)

thank you so much........we leave Saturday with our four kids and I was getting so worried with the negativity.......I know we will have a great time. Question: is the ship decorated Christmas? It is a first time away over the holiday. thanks again and glad you had a great cruise............Jenny

Thanks for all the input.....seems to be a consensus that Carnival may be a bit better food wise but RCI wins for ships and activities........booking two junior suites on the Explorer of the Seas for my oldest son's graduation from high school next June 2011........we loved the Pride and had fun being our first cruise but the kids did seem to run out of things to do at times...........hoping RCI keeps them busier and the 9 nights and itinerary looks great....st thomas, san juan, st maartin and Bermuda.....thanks again for all the input.......can't imagine planning a cruise with checking things here at CC............good day all'

My family of 6 (kis 10-18) are trying to plan our second cruise. We took Carnival Pride last year and had a great time. We are leaning toward the Explorer of the Seas for June 2011.........everyone says the food is much better on Carnival. We are foodies and know good food....we thought the food on the Pride was good to very good (the supper club being superb) Do you think we will be disappointed with RC.....everyone says for Carnival has better food RC has better pools/activities comments please!

If you have classic late dining, do you miss the "dance parties"?
Is it worth purchasing the WOW bands?
Is it true mixed drinks ran about $14.00 ? seems high
thanks so much!
