I’ve enjoyed the bickering, but after reading everything you guys have written, I have to strongly agree with seasidemama on the Certificate of Recovery issue. It is not easy to find on the RCCL website. I stumbled upon it using a google search. But it should be right on the page about testing, not just buried in an FAQ section.

Please show me where it says I can use a certificate of recovery if I'm vaccinated in lieu of a test (which I can).

Great news from NCL today. Maybe Royal will follow and No pre cruise testing!!!!’
Looks like a change may be coming September 1!!! -
Yup. Mine removed as well. Sailing 9/4 out of Copenhagen. When are you sailing?
-
So, I see that Royal Caribbean has eliminated its Covid testing requirement for some sailings from U.S. ports, but I can’t find any updated information for sailings from foreign ports. Has anyone heard if they are planning to issue updated guidelines for foreign ports? Im sailing out of Copenhagen on September 4 for a 14-night Transatlantic voyage, and hoping not to have to take a pre-cruise test.

If you have MTD then you will be able to make MTD reservations in the Cruise Planner at some point in time maybe 9 months from sailing.
there is no where that specifically lists dining time.
call 866.562.7625 press 4 and follow the prompts to get an invoice sent, this will show you your dining time.
Thank you so much!!!

Thanks. I understand all that. I like to confirm everything online, so I am just wondering if the RCCL website/cruise planner actually lists the dining you are assigned to.
-
Is there a way online to check what dining choice you are assigned to? I can’t seem to find it on the website/cruise planner. Thanks.

Oh no!! I’m sailing after the refurb. Are they getting rid of the 2-story Diamond Lounge??

That section of the website is at least five years out of date.
Let's have another round of cheers for the spectacular RC IT department!
Sheesh!!! Lol. Thanks for the info!!!

Thanks. The reason for my confusion is this statement from the RCCL website:
“On ships where a Diamond Club is available there will be no Exclusive Nightly Diamond Event or complimentary Specialty coffees available in the dining room”
In a previous section, it defines the Nightly Diamond Event as the free 3 drink voucher benefit.
So this suggests that it is one or the other, but not both.
So does RCCL not enforce this restriction?

I’m a little bit confused about the Diamond Club benefit.
I will be sailing on Allure of the Seas next year. I understand that ship has a Diamond Club lounge.
Does that mean I must have my 3 free nightly drinks IN the club? Or can I still opt to have them at bars throughout the ship? Thanks.

I am trying to check in online for Anthem of the Seas, but when I gets to the place where I have to choose a check-in time, it says the scheduling system is currently unavailable, and it won't let me continue.
When I called up RCCL, they said it was a glitch, and that I should designate my arrival method as "consecutive cruiser," which is for those doing back-to-back cruises (I am not doing a back-to-back).
Has anyone else had this problem? Does the solution suggested by RCCL make any sense?
-
Thanks!!

A while back, I saw a post linking to a handy chart showing all the current dining options (along with the cover charges) for the restaurants on Anthem of the Seas (or it might have been Quantum of the Seas).
Does anyone have the link to that chart?
Thanks.

The ship is Anthem of the Seas - the category is Category X - Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony Guarantee.
Is it possible that I will be assigned an obstructed balcony?
-
If I book a Balcony Guarantee Cabin, is it possible that I will be assigned an OBSTRUCTED view balcony?
Calls to RCCL reservations have resulted in two different answers. One agent said I can end up with any balcony, including the possibility of an obstructed view. Another agent told me the opposite -- that I am guaranteed to have an UNobstructed balcony.
Is there a definitive answer to this question?
Thanks.

For years, I have had the same problem.
I can never see my current bookings when I sign into my account.
I always have to access them the "back way" via the "Organizer Access" or "Manage my Cruises" links.
Very problematic website, but you can still get to the info you need.

Hi woehwdy,
Thanks for the advice. I agree with you that this should be done before sailing. Since this is Dynamic Dining Classic, it will involve fixed seating at 4 different restaurants.
I have a question about your suggestion. Both reservations (mine and my friend's) have notations allowing them to be linked together for dining. Does the call to the Group Department have to come from MY TA (as you suggested)? Or can it come from my friend's TA (the one that has the group booking)?
Thanks.
-
Thanks, everyone, for the advice - I will try all or your suggestions, and if all else fails, will speak to the dining manager upon boarding.
-
Thanks for the responses - my travel agent's response was the same as clarea's - if you move the indiviudal out of the group, that booking may be repriced and will certainly lose the onboard credit associated with the group booking. So, yes, clarea, that is not a viable option.
But Desert Cruizers, I am intrigued by your suggestion. Are you saying that my friend's booking number is actually the group booking number? Are you saying that my friend also has a individual booking number invisible to her?
RCCL seems to be saying there is nothing that can be done to link the bookings other than removing my friend's booking from the group (again, not a viable option).
So, Desert Cruizers, are they wrong? Is there a separate individual booking number that can be linked?
Thanks.

I am sailing on Anthem of the Seas in January, and am travelling with a total of 10 people. We all have confirmed early seating in Classic Dining.
We are trying to link our bookings together so that we are all assigned to the same table.
All of our reservations are now linked (cross-referenced), except for one booking. We are told that that booking cannot be linked.
RCCL tells our travel agent that that booking cannot be linked to ours because it is part of a group booking (my friends are not part of any group per se - rather, their travel agent has a block of cabins booked as a group, and they are part of that).
We were told we would have to wait until we get on the ship and speak to the dining manager onboard.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? Any ideas on how to solve this before we actually sail? I am worried we might have a problem onboard.

Thanks - I never modify gratuities, so the only loss for me is the (ridiculously small amount of) interest I will lose on the money.
