  1. I was in a spa balcony on Vista in January. I booked it because I love the spa on the Magic and Breeze. I can confirm everything Crewsweeper said about the spa on the Vista. It was such a disappointment! Will be in a Havana Cabana on Vista in July and will not be purchasing a spa pass.

  2. I'm in a spa balcony on the Vista in just a few days. I made the booking a long time ago before anyone knew that much about the ship. It is NOT the same as the spa on the Breeze, which I loved. I would not have paid the extra money for the spa cabin if I had known there was no thalossotherapy pool on the Vista. Have a Havana Cabana in July which I am very excited about. I will not be purchasing a spa pass for that cruise.

  3. There are Tshirts for sale on board but not sure they are the same. Near the end of the cruise they will have a lot of Tshirts on sale in the gift shop.

I order water and soda because I don't want to lug it on board. I have also ordered the fruit and more basket which was very good.

The ice bucket in the room fits perfectly inside their cooler which keeps the cooler from leaking on the counter. Room steward will be happy to keep you stocked with ice.

  4. Just got back from Alaska cruise with friend who uses a scooter. We did the White Pass Railway in Skagway. They have several cars with a lift. We did not get off the train. Also went whale watching in Juneau with Orca Enterprises. They picked us up at the dock in a van with a lift. In Victoria and Ketchikan, she rode around tiown and did some shopping. The scenery is spectacular no matter what you do. We had a great time. Hope you do too.

  5. We are past final payment and I always book Early Saver. Called last week and got $150 onboard credit with the Dream Vacation Sale. Called today and got another $150 onboard credit with the Half Year Sale! Just a few more weeks to go. Might get another price drop because there are still plenty of cabins available. Life is good!

  6. The great thing about Nachi is that they limit the number of people who they allow per day so it is never crowded. It is an awesome relaxing day on the beach. You are assigned a waiter who brings you food and drinks all day. (Technically the food is limited to a 4 course meal, but you don't have to eat it all at once. We did not get to all four courses.) You can sit in a lounge chair under a palapa or hang out in the pool or jacuzzi. The bar is swim up from both. There is also a covered dining area if you prefer to eat there. Tell them when you want to leave and they will call a cab for you. They have a few things available for an extra charge: massage, snorkeling, banana boat ride, but nobody pressures you.

If you are looking for a party on the beach and lots of water toys, then Nachi is not a good choice. Possibly the person who complained about it was looking for more action.

Just booked today for our August cruise and can't wait to return!

  7. I don't remember seeing any magazines. They have books and games you can check out. Although you can go in there and hang out just about any time, there are only certain times somebody will be there with a key to open the cases.

  8. We had a cabin above the casino on the Conquest a few years ago. Noise from people in the casino was not a problem. Noise from the band definitely was. It was quite loud. Don't remember our cabin number but we were close to being above the stage area. Hopefully it's better further away.
