  1. We just sailed on the Anthem 12/20 to 12/28. They have a very efficient setup at Cape Liberty. Once you drop off your luggage at the drop off area you go to the garage. There was a person stationed at each gate who handed you the ticket from the machine. They informed you to keep the ticket with you. At disembarkation once you clear customs, very efficient, done with facial recognition, you go to the area to pay for parking. There were 5-6 machines for credit cards and 2 for cash. There was a person stationed at each machine to help with the process. It was painless and every person was incredibly polite. From there you go get your car, go down to the baggage pickup area, load up and leave. Total price for parking for the 8 days was $176.00. Time from ship to pulling out the gate was 45 minutes. We’ve been on over 32 cruises and this by far was the most efficient disembarkation process.

  2. We were on the 10/25 Royal repositioning from NY to Fort Lauderdale. We managed to secure two lounges for the full ten days. We were told that we were the last two that they could accept for the full cruise. We never had any issues with people in our seats and we used the Sanctuary every day. I would have been all over the staff if I had found somebody in my chair. The staff during this cruise was just ok, not great, not bad. We were in the Sanctuary on the Crown and the Island and the Sanctuary staff on those ships were amazing.

  3. We are booked on the Westerdam Alaska R/T Seattle on 7/28/14. We haven't booked our flights yet, but we realized that the latest flights to the east coast leave around 11 AM. Would we be able to get off the ship early enough to make an 11:30 AM flight or should we just figure on a red eye or wait till the next day?

  4. We were in D734 on the Emerld in November. It was a great cabin. The walk from the rear stairs was no big deal. The balcony was larger than a normal balcony and it was covered. The beam is no big deal, it really didn't interfere with our use of the balconny. We really loved being on the back of the ship. The only issue we noticed was that the sound of the wake seemed to amplify itself on the balcony because of the enclosed area. We would defineately do the same cabin again. 5. Deck: Vista

    Cabin: 8112

    Class: 1C

    Port or Starboard: Starboard

    Bed Location: Next to Bath

Balcony View: Directly under the wing of the bridge, doesn't obsure view. Looking forward at night you can see lots of stars. Looking to the rear you can see the entire ship. However, there will be no hanky panky on this balcony as there is a fish eye camera that hangs down under the bridge.

Balcony Size- Normal size, wind not an issue.
