Any idea how long it will take to process through the airport in Stockholm. Flying on a Saturday from USA through London to Stockholm.

I just ordered this from Amazon. Hope it will solve my problem without endangering anyone. Got orange so perhaps I won't leave it behind Lol.

Teabag, thanks that is so helpful.

A couple of the small museums are free, but these two charge admission (free with the iamsterdam card):

 

• Zaans Museum
  
• Zaanse Tijd Museum
  

And if you want to visit the windmills, they also charge a fee. But it looks like three of them are free with the card: De Kat, De Zoeker, and Het Jonge Schaap. :) Keep in mind that they are not always open for visits.

 

If you are getting the i amsterdam card for 3 or 4 days, it could be worth using it to visit Zaanse Schans one day. But if you're only planning to buy the 24- or 48- hour ticket, it's hard to get your money's worth unless you stay in Amsterdam and go to as many attractions as possible in that short time.

I'm trying to decide if the I amsterdam card is worth it for me. One day we will go to Zaanse Schans.

It says free with the card but most of the sight is free anyway. I can't find information about the Museums. Are they free with the Iamsterdam card?

Interesting....I got it under the window seat fine, but I tried the aisle as I was boarding, and it was a no-go. I am flying in about 10 days, so maybe I will try again. I would much rather have an aisle seat...I will definitely compare rows.

I'm with you. I can get a much larger bag under the window seat than I get under the aisle seat . I thought all their planes were the same but maybe not.

On Southwest the space for the aisle seat to store things is very small. The middle seat has a large space and the window has a medium size space. I hate that about the aisle.

My temp changes often on a flight so I put my sweater/ jacket on backwards ( arms towards the back with the front open on the sides of my body). That way it is easy to take on and off. You don't really need anything on your back if you are in the seat and it just gets bunched up anyway.

Works great for me.....of course no slipovers....cardigans only.

We bought one for the scotch tour. It was quite nice. Tasted several scotches. Light snacks. The best was being led right to our seats. Didn't have to arrive really early to find our seats. The TATOO was really fun. Be sure to wear more clothes than you think you need. It goes on rain or shine and can be windy in the stands. Weather can change really fast.

We are flying business on BA from ABQ to DFW to LHR to STO. It will really be AA out of DFW but booked with BA.

I know all fleece is not created equal. How do I find warm fleece. Is name brand the only way?

BA announced a 2 day business class fare sale with a huge range of dates. If you sign up for AARP (anyone can do it, any age for $16) then you can save $400 per person on flights. So $1600 or so for international business class. It's practically theft at that price. Even more so when you can combine the 10% off they have BA Chase Visa Signature cardholders if you travel during 2015.

Many hugs to you!!!! Been looking at $1800 economy tickets. Got great tickets from ABQ to STO and return AMS to ABQ for this summer for LESS than the economy seats I've been looking at. I have looked at every possible flight departing from LV, DEN, PHX ..... using Southwest to connect to ABQ and only saving a few 100. Now we have seats in Business from Abq....2 stops but that's to be expected. Can you tell I'm excited!

Look for 'airplane mode' - On Android 5.x it's on the middle of the quick menu [pull down from top of screen twice].

 

It should be a top level choice off 'settings' in an Apple device [My original iPad is stuck at iOS 5, may not be the same place on later devices]

I may want to use my tablet for maps and directions that I have downloaded. What do I do to insure that I'm not receiving internet messages while not meaning....ie how do I disable the internet? Sorry, very new to technology.
