Now that's an interesting question. If they regularly do weddings on board cruise ships, why not Bar Mitzvah parties? I imagine you would do the ceremony on land in a synagogue, which would take care of the religious, spiritual part, but for the party/celebration - that would be worth investigating. Some lines may, some may not.

I haven't had any problems with the site -but my gripe is about the photos of the cabins - when we were looking to book our cruise, I wanted to see what the accomodation was like. Those photos (for all the RC ships) haven't been updated probably ever. I almost didn't book RC as the cabins looked old and outdated, until I saw their cruise brochure at the travel agent, with more recent cabin photos. Compared to other cruise line websites, this is not good at all.

Thanks so much - I am keeping my eyes open in case outside cabins become available at a lower price as I would love a window with some light. But it will add on a cost of $1200 to the price of our cruise so not doable at the moment. That will pay for all the extras. We are only cruising in January 2010 (2 weeks to New Zealand) on our first ever cruise so there's still time.

I've never been on Vision, but was on Rhapsody which is the same kind of ship and was in 4551, which is a little further back than you but not too much. We had no noise problems at all, there are doors at the end of the hall that help with noise I am sure. I dont think I would want a room right next to that entrance, but back where you are should be fine.

Finally! I found someone on this thread who has been on Rhapsody! I'm not sure if you will see this as its around a year later but will try anyway. We are booked in cabins right near 4551 which was yours (booked 4541 and 4543) and was wondering how quiet this area is given that 4541 looks to be right near a stairwell. Is this a good area of the ship to be in, and are these larger inside cabins any bigger than the regular inside cabins on the decks below?

I have posted a question on a separate thread but got no replies, so am posting it here, not sure if this is the right place.

We are booked on Rhapsody of the Seas in interior cabins 4541 and 4543, just wondering if anyone can advise me if this is a good location, is there any noise from the casino above, the stairwell nearby or any other comments. Its a larger interior, and I understand that the smaller interiors on decks 2 and 3 are tiny.

Any info greatly appreciated, thanks!
