  1. Cellfree, thank you for the info unfortunately I don’t think MSC accepts this this is what it says

    • All fully COVID-19 vaccinated guests are required to show proof of a negative antigen or RT-PCR test taken no more than 2 days prior to ship embarkation.
  2. So we are told we must test two days before departure for our MSC cruise, so I scheduled them two days prior at CVS and it says results will be back from 1-2 days,, what IF we do NOT have them back before we go to port in MIami, will they just test us there? OR should I try to schedule rapid testing two days prior, they are still hard to find open slots .

  3. What is the going rate for you to tip this person for a 7 day cruise? How many other people are their to tip? We try to bring cash however we haven’t  cruised in 7 yrs, no idea what the going tip is anymore, just an estimate at-least anyone?

  4. Thank you so much, this is the kind of feedback,  I washoping for. i haven’t been on cruise critic for like 5 yrs till most recently.
I used to use it 100% for help for choosing itinerrarys,  independent excursions, I dom;t know if the format has changed or I just do not navigate it properly anymore

  5. I am looking at either the 7 or 8 night on the Celebrity Silhouette. I looked at P.O. Cruise first but decided Celebrity looked better.

Also do you have to call the cruise line directly to get an aft at the very back of ship? Only has one on e on an Alaska cruise, loved it, ago to long as to remember,

  6. My husband and I want to visit the Norwegian Fjords this years, we are considering cruise that leaves and returns to South Hampton as I have Family in that area on England

I can visit prior to cruise. Looking for best ship, month to visit and any suggestions of excursions at various ports. Thanks in advance.

  8. How much do these tours run? It would just be my husband and myself, one day a rome tour and another day either florence or pompe/ No one has joined our roll call at all, we are going on Costa , guess it isn;t too popular, but it;s affordable,

  9. Thanks, I kinda figured I originally knew what I was doing as I ONLY evr added Langley & delta when I was trying for months then this particular night I was distracted, and I aded this other area, knowing I never had before but saw it didn't have a 2 1/2 so figured it was safe, I will NEVER bid on ANYTHING AGAIN WHEN ANYONE IS IN THE ROOM TALKING TO ME, HA,HA

  10. I always knew Priceline would not downgrade a star bid, but they certainly upgrade a half a star. I had been trying to bid for downtown vancouver for over 4 months to get a 3 star. I did not feel this was to early as last time I was in vancouver 2 years ago I had bid 10 months and got a 4 * downtown for $60, anyhow I finally got tired of bidding after I had bid up to $ 110 for a 3* for Sept 22nd so I decided i would try a 2 1/2 star, I had added those areas as they did not go above a 2 star well I ended up with a 3 star in Burnaby/Coquina area, so now have the cost to get to the port, first time I ever messed up with priceline, ogh well, live & learn

  11. I have bid on Priceline for hotels & car Rentals for years. Unless it has changed I believe you had to wait 72 hrs to rebid, and they even email you now when you are able to rebid again. I have found that the cheap prices I was getting for hotels on Priceline fior 3 & 4 ** don;t seem to exsist anymopre, or maybe it is just the dates & places I choose. However my husband read in the buisness section that Travelocity & Place slike that are actually higher now than want you will get if you call the hotel diretcly and ask for a rack room rate and ALWAYS TELL them you are staying with them for the very first time, this has helped me at homewood suites and one other I cannnot remember. Hope thsi helps

  12. Does anyone know if there is something special going on in Vancouver weekend of Sept? I am a regular bidder on priceline for hotels and I ahev been trying for 3 months to get a decent price in Vancouver for the 22nd. I started out bidding $70 for a 3 star. gone up as high as $110, then finally gave up and went down to a 2 1/2 star. I have bid up as high as $88 still can't even get a 2/1 2 star, any suggestions anyone??
