Only 69 days to go! We changed our plans and are not driving in after all. After looking at 16 hrs on the road spread over 2 days vs. 6 hrs in the air, we're taking Delta out of Knoxville. I'm 55 and my DW is "less" lol but this is our first 1st class flights to anywhere. I've flown to Europe, South America, and all over the states but never 1st class. This trip is for our 34th anniversary and we are so excited so start. Can't wait to kick back on our Lido deck balcony and forget the world exists. lol
Does anyone know anything about the Cruise Director on this trip? We've been on 9 with Carnival. All were great except the one on the Legend. They really can make you trip so much better, or worse.

Dunns River Falls was incredible, but we heard it is really busy on days when the cruise ships are in town. Either way, if you've never been, I can't imagine missing it. We also did a river tubing trip that was so much fun! We did a trip to Mystic Mountain (where they have the bobsled ride) and I would not recommend it at all.
We did Dunn's River Falls when we were there last. Its great but they will not allow small children to do the climb. Also it's pretty exhilarating . Wear hard soled shoes when you climb it, as my wife wore a cast on her foot for 3 months after we got home due to a sharp rock she stepped on tearing a tendon in her foot. The water moves very fast but it really is an awesome feeling when you finally get to the top and see what you've done.
Unrelated: Does anyone know if we have only 1 or is it 2 elegant nights. It would be unheard of for my wife to have to wear the same thing twice. lol ;)

Hello all. Been away awhile. Shoveling snow but who hasn't in the eastern US? Anyway, Does anyone have any exerience with the Hyatt next to the port or the Best Western by the airport? We are looking to drive down from East TN the day before and we want to stay close to the port. Also, does anyone have info on whether or not Miami Port has valet parking if so how much. I know its a lot but thanks for the help.

Congrats on the FTTF. We got it a couple of times until we became Platinum. It was really nice going right to your room and having the luggage delivered so quickly!!
Tom
We started getting it at first due to my wife's limited mobility due to an accident. she has to use a cane and it's really nice being able for her to go straight to the room's balcony to rest.

We got the FTTF for this cruise. Hope it's worth it!
We just purchased our Faster to the Fun today as well. We've used it twice and now we won't sail without it till we're platinum. Only 30 more days of cruising.

Hey! glad to see we're getting some activity as we near the "one year to go!" mark - LOL.
We're looking forward to seeing GC and Jamaica for the first time -- we've also been to Coz a few times now but we will still go ashore and head over to Money Bar Beach on our own for a little something to eat and some snorkeling.
We are Bridget (me) and Brian (DH) from Burbank - in our 50's but more like our 20's :D
Cozumel is the reason we chose this one. We (Marcus & Teresa), also 50's Love Cozumel so much we've been there 7 times already.

My DW and I just booked this one last night. We're on a Lido Balcony and are super excited to be joining the gang. This will be our tenth cruise all on Carnival. We're from East Tennessee and look forward to the trip.

Any ideas for the best shopping in Montego Bay? The DW and I have been to Jamaica before and she really is wanting to do shopping more this time. Anything near Margaritaville to shop at? Looking for some Jamaican bamboo wind chimes. Thanks for the help.
