As far as I can see from the email we will still get the journal but the ticket will no longer be bound into the book but will arrive electronically. Quite why a copy cannot be sent in the same package as the journal beats me.

It’s funny, they haven’t even collected my tickets the last four cruises I’ve been on. I just show them my ID and off I go. So not sure if you really need the electronic one. :confused:

I tried yesterday and it was restricting restaurant reservations to 60 days out.

I just logged onto my account and my reservation bookings are still there. I booked them 83 days prior to our trip. We have 72 days to go. :confused:

Did they just disappear on yours?

My parents in law sail in a few weeks and today received their silver box. It's another to add to their collection, but it seems that the silver box is alive and well in their part of the world.

I just received conformation from our TA that SS is no longer sending Silver box's in the US. For the one who have received one congratulations and the others I get it. Just disappointed since it brought good thoughts :D

Just received my box that I thought was going to be silver. Instead I received a standard white shipping box with there seal on it. My first impression was that Silversea was protecting there silver boxes since the majority of my was damage in the past. What a big disappointment :cool:

THANKS for the added, nice comments! Don't know that I'll be turning my reports into a book and/or that there would be that much interest to kill the trees to print it, but it is a much appreciate comment.

 

For canyonman, good luck on your upcoming Silver Cloud sailing in the eastern Med. In 2006 on the Seabourn Spirit, we much loved our first cruise as we went from Athens to Istanbul, with added time before and after in those two super great and historic cities. I would suggest doing a separate "ROLL CALL" on this Silversea Cruise Critic board to connect with those traveling on that cruise with you. The roll call for this cruise attracted lots of interest and helpful connections that made our Norway Coast cruise work so well. Also, go to the Greek and Other Med board for added ideas and tips in connection with those popular areas.
