We booked a 7 Night cruise on the Divina for April 4th out of Port Canaveral earlier this week. Just noticed that the Itinerary changed today. Cozumel and Grand Cayman have been replaced with Belize City and Costa Maya. I am actually happy about the change. #1, our price went down and #2, Costa Maya is our favorite Cruise stop in all of the Carribean.

To add to the post above.. the dining experience menus state that you are entitled to 3 dishes of your choice from the menu. The menus are broken out into 3 sections, apps, entrees and desserts.
Each time we went to order the waiter tried to tell us that we could have one from each. The menu doesn't say this. We never wanted dessert so we always got 2 apps and an entree. Each time we were given a bit of grief and twice the waiter had to check with someone, but we were allowed to do it.
I never tried to push the issue and get 2 entrees, as the apps were typically better than the entrees.
I mentioned to them that if they wanted you to have 1 item from each category, they should indicate that on the menu.
Oh, the crab selection app in Ocean Cay is amazing.

Day 6, Thursday ~ Costa Maya
- In Port 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- We had privately booked a day at the all-inclusive Maya Chan. It did not disappoint. We exited the port area and walked toward the big pyramid until we found the Maya Chan sign. We checked in for our 25 minute bumpy bus ride. They warned us about the bumps, and they also warned us about the Sea Grass. They offered a refund if we wanted to back out because of the sea grass, but we had to decide before we got on the bus. Thankfully, our research told us to stick it out.
- It was our favorite day of the whole cruise. No crowds, full service, truly all-inclusive with no up-sells, except an optional massage, which we took advantage of at 30 minutes for $25. So good. Our admission price included a private cabana with five chairs and a bed! Unlimited drinks and a taco bar buffet. I commented earlier on how good the food was at Paradise beach- forget it. The Sea Bass tacos were perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. Just this garlic butter fish in a flour tortilla that was made right in front of me. I put toppings on chicken, beef, pork tacos, but that fish didn't need anything... I would book another cruise just to go to Maya Chan.

This is our favorite port and place to go while cruising. We always look for stops in Costa Maya just so we can visit Maya Chan!

I think what they possibly mean by the all denominations question is penny, nickel, and quarter slots

The scallops are bay scallops, which are very small compared to Sea Scallops. They look normal sized in your picture.
What does look small is the Shrimp Alfredo. Only 3 shrimp? I'd probably would order 2 of each!
Now to last nights dinner this was the second Elegant night, btw tonight is the 70’s night.Don’t know what’s happened to the Italian or Mediterranean night unless they do for the last night?
Anyway now for the menu.
I had the scallops btw and they are tiny little things the size of a little finger nail! Personally I would choose a different starter next time!

I was planning on booking the specialty dinner trio, but have been thinking more and more about just booking the Chefs table at Butcher's Cut.
Can you tell us a little more about the experience?
-
I would like to hear some reviews of this also.

Hello! I was wondering if you (or anyone else) can comment as to whether teens are allowed in the thermal area (16+)
They should be allowed. When I try to book online for the thermal pass, it allows me to choose my 13 year old, but not my 9 year old child.

Has anyone done the Butcher's Cut Chef table on the Seaside yet? I am trying to decide between this and the Trio dining experience and wanted to get some thoughts about the chef table.

Booked in March 2017 for March 2018 sailing. Booked an aft Aurea suite. We received 150 OBC from MSC and 280 from our TA, total of 430. Also received free internet. Got 5% off due to status match. 2 adults and 2 children.
-
If you have more pictures of the aft suites, why not just post all of them? For someone who had complained about the lack of info from msc for the last 2 years in this thread, seems kind of dumb to string everyone along with your 2 pictures a day. Just saying..
-
Can you use post #'s instead of page #'s please? Some of us change our board settings to different numbers of posts per page. For instance, I only have 11 pages for this thread. Thanks
More images on page 103 .... :D -
I don't disagree, but it was at least interesting that they actually acknowledged and replied to your question. And I'm sure the reply was written by a social media employee that actually had no clue.
-
There is a post on MSC's FB page about the Seaside. Someone commented and said they would like to know what the layout of their aft suite looked like.
MSC actually replied with the following:
"The best things are worth waiting for! We want to make sure we provide the best pictures possible to show you :) Patience is key while we're perfecting your stateroom."
So, as aggravating as it is, at least it isn't just an oversight by MSC. They are apparently purposely not releasing the details. Now, as to the real, internal reason, who knows..

Looks like it leads to interior cabins that are most likely for crew. These cabins could be for entertainers and such. I saw musicians and dancers coming out of similar cabins on passenger decks on NCL this spring.

After you book you will get a detailed questionnaire from NCL that you will have to complete asking you about any special needs that you have. It is 3 or 4 pages long. You have to email back to the accessdesk at NCL.
-
Does anyone know if all the cabins were updated? Or just the suites? Thank you!
All the press releases indicate that all cabins got new carpet and furniture along with new artwork and headboards that have USB charging built in.

The atrium and other work looks amazing. The only mystery left for me is the new lounge- did Medusa become Bliss?
Yes, Medusa Lounge is now Bliss.

Do the kids get any snacks or drinks while they are participating in the splash academy activities? We are trying to determine if it is worth the cost of purchasing soda packages for our children. We think they will be spending a ton of time in the splash academy.
If they have a soda packages will they be able to get sodas if they are signed into SA?

Here's a fresh article on the refurbishment.

I think this is most likely due to the Bahamas not allowing visitors from the USA,
