We were on The Regal Princess in September and were in cabin M710
When we walked the sea view we did notice you could see into some cabin balconies, exactly which ones I am not sure, to be safe I would choose another cabin, maybe the other side of the ship.

We stayed at Menzies hotel, took the train from Sydney Airport when we arrived the hotel is across the street from the station, it is a 10 minute walk to the cruise terminal but the Hotel is cheaper than those overlooking the cruise terminal and port where the ferries leave and return, we were there two days prior to our cruise and walked to the Front where the opera house is a few times, Sydney layout is quite small when it comes to sightseeing and we took a taxi on embarkation day which was better will our luggage, I recall the embarkation was quite well organized.

My wife and I have attended the chefs table twice, both times very enjoyable and interesting. These evenings were not that recent and I know the price has increased but I recommend everyone trying it at least once during their cruising vacations.

We just came off The Regal Princess at Brooklyn and asked if there was a Global Entry Kiosk and was told that there was not one.

You get the same on every cruise, you can change the spirits for whatever you wish, this also goes for the mixers & sodas, just call housekeeping and tell them what you want to exchange.

The Shareholder OBC is in effect until next summer. Each year, the board of directors re-authorizes it for another year. There is no guarentee they will continue it, but they have had it for a number of years.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I have to step up and buy some shares........I should have done this a year ago when then were around $17-$18 now they are around $40:(

Can anyone tell me if this shareholder perk continues or was it just a one off offer??
1st River Cruise - Viking - Dining at Table for 2 ?
in River Cruising

There are no reserved tables, it is “festival” seating in the Dinning room. There are a few two only tables but most are for 4’s. 6’s etc.
the passengers on river boats are normally experienced ocean cruisers who have decided to experience something a little more advanced and are normally very interesting so I would not fret too much on sharing a table, also you don’t keep the same table, you just take whatever is available.
Our first river cruise was on Viking and we enjoyed it immensely as I am sure you will also.
