We did this on our Breeze cruise last month and enjoyed it. One of my sons and I had the waffle, one son had green eggs and ham and my husband had an omelet. While the food wasn't five star restaurant quality it was similar to the food in the dining room with a fun twist. The $5 is worth it for the characters and fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed it and would do it again.

Thanks a bunch. Although I went on the Breeze before, I did an 8 day. I wanted to surprise my bf for our upcoming 6 day on the Breeze in April with 2 nights specialty restaurant dinners (Steak house and Italian). Now I can plan for which days we can go to the restaurants ahead of time.
That's exactly why we wanted them, too. [emoji4] Don't be surprised if they change but hopefully this will help get you started.

Thanks so much! We will be doing this same itinerary in December on the 6-day Breeze. Would you also like to share what you did in those particular ports? Still trying to figure out what to do and narrow it down. Curious about the temperatures in December, we have never sailed that time of the year. Any other information would be greatly appreciated. :D
I'm working on writing a review but will tell you here. In our first port, Ocho Rios, we just went to Margaritaville and played at the beach. We did not get off in Grand Cayman. And in Cozumel we went to Paradise beach. Every port was great and we wouldn't change a thing we did.

2260/2/4 do not have life boats above the balconies (same on other side) as far as I can remember. These rooms are in the 'gap' between the lifeboats which provide a better view and a bit more sun.

We had room 2262 and we did have a lifeboat up above us. This blocked the sun from our balcony. Originally, I had thought I didn't want a lifeboat above us but honestly liked it since it blocked the sun.

We've been on deck 6 on the Dream (sister ship to the Breeze) and hated how deck 5 went further out than our balcony. So this time we booked a cove balcony on the Breeze and loved it. The view is awesome!

We got off the Breeze a week ago and enjoyed it. I'm not for sure why anyone would truly complain about the ship itself. The decor is very subtle, the layout is easy to maneuver and there is lots of room for guests. The only complaints I truly could say about the ship is the comedy club is too small and there is no adults only pool. Other than that, the complaints would be fleet wide for Carnival (some service issues, smoky casino, etc).
Overall, we enjoyed the Breeze and would go on it again.

You are welcome! This helped us plan what day to go to Cucina Del Capitino. We didn't want to miss a good meal in the main dining room. Also, you can see the entire weeks worth of menus on the TV in your state room.

They will let your daughter do the encounter but not the swim. We did the encounter with our 3 year old a few years ago and really enjoyed it. We are waiting until he is old enough to do the swim to go again. We also went to Chank. and it was lots of fun.
-
I've been looking for the 6 day for awhile now but it's never been posted. The 8 day has though but I've not figured out what 2 days the 6 day doesn't have that the 8 day does.
-
Thanks for the review! We will be on the Breeze in 2 1/2 weeks and are so excited.
-
CocoCandy, I hope you had a great cruise! Were you able to get the menus? I'd love to see them if you did, excited!
-
I think I've decided to just go to Turtle beach; which is within walking distance of the ship.
-
Cruiselvr04, we'll have small children with us as well and are thinking the same thing, not many excursions are suitable for them. We'll probably just go to the beach.
-
Curious as well.
-
Thanks for the review! We'll be on this cruise in October. Do you have the menus (or maybe remember what order the menus went in) or Fun Times?
-
I will be traveling on a 6 day sailing on Breeze late next month and will be happy to share the Funtimes when I return.
CocoCandy, can you get the menus for us as well?!? I'd be soooo grateful! We'd like to plan our dinners for the up charge restaurants on a night we don't like something in the MDR. TIA!
-
Can't wait to read more!
-
Thanks, marshalltp but those aren't the ones I'm looking for. I'm looking for just the 6 day menus so I know which 2 days we don't get on the 6 day and when each menu is served.
-
We sail October 4th. Would like to see the menus in advance so we can plan what days to skip the MDR.
If they aren't posted before then (really hoping they are) I'll post them when we get back for those of you going later.
-
Do you have the menus? Trying to plan what days to skip the main dining room.
-
-
Disney also uses kiosk systems and facial recognition. Though they still print a lot of pictures it's not as many. I've never understood why they print all those pictures, it's so wasteful.
-
We will be sailing on the Breeze for a 6 day cruise. I'm hoping to see the menus so we can decide which days to skip and go to the up charge restaurants. I've seen the 8 day menus but not sure which ones will be on the 6 day. Thanks!
