On our first caribbean cruise, we were allocation our table on the first night, the second cruise we were seated where was available any only allocated on evening no 2. I don't know if this was because the cruise had friday and saturday flights when the previous one didn't. Our next cruise which we are joining on saturday also has friday flights, is anyone aware what the seating arrangements will be on the first night?
Thanks,
Anne and Jim

Weather forecast much more settled for this week, saying that I was also worried last week as I am not a good flier at the best of times.

Thanks think we are due to land around 2pm or thereabouts, that should give us enough time to nip to duty free.

On our 1st cruise we had a wonderful table of 8, on our 2nd cruise it was awful one nice couple but two awful couples. Since then we have requested a table for 2, we were lucky to get one on our last cruise have also requested one on the azura but as tables for two are very limited (more so on azura i think), you dont find out if you have been lucky until you embark. I believe, though not sure, they come on a first come first served basis, we booked over a year ago so fingers crossed. Saying that they may give them to passengers who have booked the most expensive staterooms? Good luck to you and us!
Just realised you are on freedom dining, we were on a fixed sitting so had our table number and size when we reached our stateroom. Not sure if you have allocated tables on freedom dining, hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

Think I'm getting memory loss, although have sailed from Barbados twice before can't remember what time it was. We are thinking of going to the duty free at the cruise terminal but want to make sure we have enough time, I also presume due to another post it is only a couple of minutes walk from the ship. Thanks in anticipation.

Very impressed with the photos of the beach, how far is it from the cruise terminal please, and, how easy to get there?

Thanks everyone, I did phone P&O this morning, they were very helpful indeed, but when he checked thomson flight only 1 seat available. We will just hope for best, at least not paid for premier seats, and, I would rather have a bad flight than a bad cruise!!

How do you transfer your flight? As far as I know unless you go with a scheduled flight you are on the flight that P&O charter? We didnt complain last time but if we have a bad flight this year oh boy both TC and P&O will know about it!

I was hoping we would be flying with thompsons again to barbados but sadly not. Our last flight with thomas cook wasn't very good at all, from food choice to the on-board entertainment which broke down! Has anyone travelled with them recently and what was the flight like, many thanks.

On page 31 of the new 2013 P&O brochure it states that the luggage allowance for P&O fly cruises is 20kg. If you struggle at 23kg you will be in real trouble next year.
We have booked for caribbean 2014 and on cruise personaliser have our flight details, which state, hold luggage maximum of 23kg per person. This is with Thomas Cook (worse luck) flight. But I must agree with most of the other posts it is not P&O it is handling regulations, we are travelling to Southampton by train in three weeks and they to have regulations with baggage weight.
