We were in Copenhagen in June and stayed at Best Western Hotel Hebron, it is in a great location near the central train station and Tivoli Gardens. We had a king suite for 895 dkk which is a good rate. The full breakfast was included in the price and the food was wonderful. We were on the top floor and it was warm the night we were there but there was a fan in our bedroom no AC. Free wifi also.

We just got back and also took a private tour. We used Tomas Lonnberg who owns Kontiki Finland. There were four of us and the cost was 110 Euros pp price included lunch. We went to Provoo and had a very nice lunch there then toured the area in which he lives, then back to Helsinki to see some of the sites. I highly recommend Tomas, we had a great day.

Desdichado62, we will be in Frihamnen Berth 638 on Sat 28/6/2014. We will be docked over night and would like to take the HOHO bus during the day and do a dinner cruise from 6 -8:30 pm. If we buy a ticket for the HOHO bus for the day can we use it to get back to Frihamnen after the dinner cruise? If not what is our next option? The dinner cruise leaves Stadshusbro. Thanks for your help. :)

Thanks so much for your reply. Is it possible to get the bus schedule in English? Also do you think it would be best to purchase a 24 hr city pass or the Copenhagen card? It appears the 10 trip ticket will no longer be available.

We arrive on Tuesday June 17th @ 7:15am. I'm trying to decide the best way to get to our hotel, Best Western Hebron. Is the train our best option with our luggage? Also I read previously that bus #26 could take us close to C330. Is that what we should take to get to our ship leaving on June 18th? Again is there room with our luggage or should be take a cab? There will be four of us plus luggage.

I heard back from SPB tours this is their reply:

"Just to clarify, the early booking discount is reserved for 2 Day Flat Rate Deluxe Tours. All tour day lengths coincide with ship docking dates. For example, 2 Day Tours are only offered to ships docked in St. Petersburg for 2 Days and ships docked in St. Petersburg for 3 days are offered 3 day tours. As your ship is docked in St. Petersburg for 3 days, we are sadly not able to offer a 2 Day Flat Rate Tour for your ship, we also cannot offer an early booking discount."

We are in St. Petersburg for 3 days so no discount.

Just want to let everyone know that SPB is running a early-booking discount to all Cruise Critic members who book before Jan 1, 2014. Two day deluxe tour only $285 per person.

 

TJ Tour is also having a 5% discount on their website for booking before October 1.

Has anyone used Sicily Liimousine Service to go from Messina to Taormina? Our cruise will be stopping in Messina in May and I'm looking into private tours.
