family of 7: Help in choosing a beach/plan
in Cozumel

Hello folks,
We will be in Cozumel with 5 kids ages 4-22 and need help in deciding the best beach "resort" option for the family. I've seen and read various things about Mr. Sancho, Playa Mia, Paradise, and Chankanaab. So many that now I'm just down right overwhelmed by it all. Can anyone offer some advice from your own experience. It'll be our first time in Cozumel.
FYI: All the kids are pretty active, but we do have a 4 year old in tow and would prefer a fun, but not so party like atmosphere with options for the different ages here.
Also, could we do a beach resort thing and perhaps grab a cab and do something else on the island? Our plan is to book a something now, but grab a cab and avoid the excursion crowds to the shuttles.
