  1. icon1.gifFriends and family voucher

Just wandering how this works..I booked a cruise while on a cruise and got 2 of these...the man told me I could give them away to someone who will book withing 60 days of when I purchased this ..

the question I am asking is, I am reading that people are saying if they are in 60 days before of after I booked they can use it..

thanks ..Carnival Sunshine is what I booked, 13 day out of Canaveral, Feb 21, 2016...and it is 200.00 OBC

    Hey Montana,

I just booked this exact same cruise. If you don't have any one that needs a friends and family voucher I could use one.

  2. I think I would like to make a door decoration for this cruise....we're drunks and might get lost! :D

Anything weird I should know about? It seems like hiding the tape is a good idea?

I always place the tape behind my decoration just because it looks better. The only advice I have is........... bring extra tape or be prepared to have your decorations tampered with. I have heard stories from others where their door decorations were either tampered with and/or came up missing. This only happened to me once while on the Victory. That's why I don't tend to spend alot of money on the decorations.

  3. Love them!! Question: Are all the doors like this? With slats? I'm thinking my card stock circles aren't going to fare so well on the door if so... boo :(

    I'm on the Valor.

I don't think that all the doors are like this on other ships. I took those pictures while sailing on the Breeze and the door was different than the ones I had when I cruised on other Carnival ships. Below is a picture of our door on the Ecstasy.

  4. Does anybody has contact information. He sounds like my kind of tour.

You can contact Jermaine at (242)425-1789 or you can email him at info@jermainestaxiandtours.com. I mostly communicated with him via email and I called him the morning of our tour to let him know that our group of 13 had been changed to a group of 15.

  5. We toured with Jermaine on our Spring Break, 2013 cruise on the Carnival Breeze. We actually booked Jermaine for this tour about 7 months before our sail date. We had to have 2 vans because there was a total of 15 people in our group. Jermaine was on time waiting for us with my welcome sign. DH and I had traveled to the Bahamas a couple of years ago and wanted to revisit the Daq Shack and Cable Beach. Jermaine had no problem incorporating these stops in our tour. Our tour included general areas of the Island as well as the forts, the Queen's Staircase, Cable Beach and The Daq Shack. We had a great trip. We were back in time to take a stroll to the Straw Market and Senor Frogs.

  6. Oreo,

Yes D emailed me the other day I was surprised because I didn’t even think he knew my whole name, since it's long and hyphenated. I heard about your ride back home and I'm really glad we stopped in Tallahassee and didn't drive straight back.

I am looking at a variety of cruises for June. Since the water was a LITTLE cold we really didn’t get our “Beach” day in Nassau; I was looking at the 3 day on the Sensation or the Imagination. However, the 5 day on the Victory looked so tempting…. (Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay & Nassau) But, all that talking about the 8day Freedom and 8day Breeze has gotten my husband all excited. We shall see……

I wanted to go on the Inaugural Cruise out of New Orleans on the Sunshine. It’s a 6 day cruise and it goes to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The itinerary isn’t that great but I hope that all the amenities on the Sunshine will make up for that.

  7. Me and my son did the Chocolate Tour last month on our Magic Cruise. The tour only takes about 2 minutes as the Chocolate Factory is not very large inside. However, it was very interesting to hear how the chocolate was made. My son wanted to make his own chocolate bars. I thought he would actually be in there mixing and melting chocolate. But that wasn't true. They bring out the chocolate to you and you place different toppings on them. Then the bars have to set for about 10 - 15 minutes. In addition to the bars my son made we also bought a couple of more for family members and they loved them!!

  8. My husband bought me new rings in St. Kitts. Since we bought them on sale in December 1977 he's been telling me the small diamond solitaire in my wedding set would grow...a friend looked at the new rings and remarked that the diamond has grown up and had babies. :D

I am trying to get the review written but it will be a few days yet before I have it finished.

We were on the Segway Tour when I fell and broke my thumb but the Segway was not responsible for the thumb. That tour, by the way, was AWESOME and I would recommend it to anyone. And if I had a spare 7000 bucks I would buy a Segway. WHAT FUN it was to ride! It was a breeze to ride, knees and legs were no problem (you do better with the knee slightly bent) and took only minutes to learn to maneuver.

    Kathy,

Can you tell me exactly how you broke your thumb? We will be traveling to San Juan in July and the Segway tour was one of our choices. However after reading your post we have a few individuals that want to chicken out.
