where is the best snorkeling in Bermuda. Is it best to go in the water from the beach or take a boat to a cove. Thanks

I have found the old we got(early 50’s now) we have started to pack more in our first aid kit. A lot more aches and pains and arthritis now. Take whatever you require!

This is our 4th NCL cruise, the 3 other cruises were booked 3 or less month before departure. We have a January Canary Island cruise booked and when I look at the booking the excursions are not listed. Is this because it's 6 months away? What is the latest they will be posted? I like to plan ahead just wondering when I will be able to start. Thanks

take some short and pants you might need them. When the ship is moving and you are outside or watching glaciers you will need layers and gloves, I even took a turtle neck along. Same with if you take any excursions on the water. I would take more than a fleece jacket

Impractical Jokers is cruising again in 2017. Was anyone on cc on the 2016 cruise in January? Just wondering if the extra money is worth it to go on this cruise. Also how many times do you really get access to them? We were thinking of going on a river cruise next year and unfortunately I had to start over at another job and I will be down to 10 days vacation next year. We are big fans of the show. Hopefully someone was on the cruise and can give us the info. Thanks in advance!

We were just at HHV, the buffet is $30 pp and not worth the price.
We did it the first morning and the second morning went across the street to the ihop. Good breakfast and worth the price IMHO

We just got off the POA on Saturday. The notice was in the daily you get Wednesday night for Thursday activities. You fill the bag and leave for your state room attendant by noon on Thursday. Your clothing is returned by Friday night. I did see a bunch of bags Friday on our way to supper.

Thanks for all the replies! Sorry, have been packing and trying to get ready to go. We are flying Hawaiian Airlines. We decided to take the 11:15 flight just to be safe. If I remember when we get back I can respond to this post on our experience. Aloha!!

Sorry, I know I have seen this before but can't seem to find the post. Our first trip to Hawaii!
The morning we leave the ship, if we take our own luggage off and take a taxi would we be able to make a 10:30 flight to Maui?
Also, this seems like a silly question, but I'll ask anyway:) Since we are flying to Maui do we use the domestic terminal or is there a terminal for island to island flights?
Thanks everyone!

Actually we rescheduled for 11:30 am tour, my apologies. We are going with Mauna Loa Helicopter tours and have to be there 45 mins prior to check-in. Supposedly it's a 10 min walk from the pier to the shopping mall to check in. We figure we will have our rental car and on the road by 1:30 pm.
I appreciate you pointing all of this out though as it's something I wouldn't have thought of. I'm assuming the 45 min check-in prior to tour is to do the weigh-in and paperwork, etc.
I'm really thinking now the 2nd day we will be on the road by 7am and up to the lighthouse and spend some time at Hanalei Bay. Looks like a nice place to check out and still have time to get back to the ship by 1:30 pm
Hi juneybugel:
Did you get to take the helicopter trip with Mauna Loa? We were thinking of using them in November and wondering how it was?

I'll be headed to Hawaii from Detroit's airport. I know it's a little early to be looking at flights, so maybe I am psyching myself out.
Has anyone flying from the Midwest found well timed flights? The earliest flights I see now leave Detroit around 8:00 am and don't arrive in Honolulu until past 9:00 pm. I know it's a long distance to travel but I was hoping to at least get dinner and a sunset out of our first day.
Any flight advice or even calming words (haha) would be helpful. Thanks!
If you have a few months until you fly, keep checking weekly. I found straight thru flights from Newark, NJ. Only $100 more than flights with layovers, and if it makes my husband happy to not have layovers that's all that counts!
I checked for months before and used kayak and hipmonk. There really are a lot of options you have to keep looking

Which Luau
in Hawaii
I've never attended a luau on Oahu and only on the neighbor Islands. Searching this forum there are many threads about this subject and here's a link to those threads with opinions about Oahu luaus.that link did not work for me

Is there a bridge cam link on the website for all the ships? I can't find the link-
-
I would say both! We want to see the WORLD but also love to be on the ocean! If more than one ship goes where we want to go then we look at the company and the ship. When we did the Panama Canal we choose Princess because we could do laundry(less the pack) and could bring wine on board.

Can anyone answer my questions? Thanks

That is so nice of you to offer your "expertise"(CC members are sooo nice!)
We will be arriving 9/12 on the Jewel. We for sure are walking the cliff walk and would like to see at least one of the mansions. So if we only get to one, everything I read says to do the Breakers?
So for first time visitors is Ocean Dr. a 'must see'? I see a bunch of tours for the 10 mile Ocean Dr and I wasn't sure. If it is we thought of doing the tour and getting dropped off at the south end of the cliff walk. Walking and coming out to do one of the mansions and going back and finishing the cliff walk and catch the trolley back to the dock? Any thoughts??
