Thats what i told carnival they booked the flight, and what happens if the flight is delayed?

We booked a cruise out of miami that departs at four pm. But we are not scheduled to arrive until two and carnival has us flying into ft. Lauderdale instead. What happens if the flight is delayed? Has anyone else have such a late arrival?

I called my ta about a price drop and was told i could upgrade to a balcony and get a refund but carnival told my ta i would have to rebook airfare at current rates which would increase our trip $600. Why cant carnival just use my current airfare that was booked?
